National Stage Success: B Squared Talent Shines on the Circuit

Some of our top players continue to make a name for themselves and showcase some of their new tools on the national stage. Some of the young players who flew under the radar during the school season are having the opportunity to showcase their hard work and skill. High school summer ball is right around the corner, but the first half of the AAU season has paid off for these players:    Abe Taylor continues to improve his game and looks even more impressive playing outside of a system. He is right back to his old ways of just being an overall impact player. Taylor has the collegiate-level size, skill, athleticism, and overall demeanor for next-level success. Coaches looking for a high-IQ player with poise and all the tangibles and intangibles will appreciate a high-level player who is efficient in every category.     [player_tooltip player_id='2471545' first='Aiden' last='McKinney'] is back in the Boot and running with his old friends, and he looks like he will shoot straight to the top of many coaching prospect boards. He comes in as one of the top bigs in the state, and he has a firm grasp on his body and what it's capable of. He is a strong finisher with the size to change a program. He is a traditional post with modern-day post potential. If you want a rim-running big man who can finish through contact and with authority, Aiden is your guy.     Emmanuel Young is a consistent prospect in that he is going to do what he does, and do it at a high level. He is a fearless point guard with off-guard skills. He can be trusted in the two-spot to go out and get buckets if that is what's required. He has an elite handle and plays the game the right way. He competes with a confidence that inspires winning and does it on both ends of the floor. It has been a great summer so far heading into summer ball for Mr. Young.     [player_tooltip player_id='2124533' first='Marlin' last='Johnson'] is getting a head start on stepping in to fill the starting point guard role at state champion John Curtis. He has slowed down and manages the offense with strategic purpose, and he will be challenged with controlling a high-powered offense at Curtis that boasts top players in the state at several positions. He is looking like the man for the job, and controlling the tempo and managing shots is proving to be his forte. PG1 is having a great summer.     [player_tooltip player_id='3538542' first='Jordan' last='Triggs'] comes in as an unranked player, but not because of a lack of skill; it is purely due to exposure. He has all the skills and tools to shake up the rankings because of his size, fundamental foundation of skill, and overall energy on the court. He is a post player but shows flashes of wing potential. He is aggressive on the boards and is a trusted finisher. He is checking a lot of boxes this summer and picking up steam as a next-level stock-riser.    As the first half of the AAU season concludes, the B Squared program has clearly maximized its time on the national stage. These prospects ranging from high-IQ floor generals to imposing, rim-running anchors—have utilized the national stage to validate their skill sets and improve their recruiting profiles. As they transition back into their respective high school programs for June summer ball, the confidence and exposure gained on the circuit will undoubtedly translate into increased leadership and elevated play. Programs seeking tested, resilient talent need to keep these names bolded on their recruiting boards as the summer continues.
