Taking a look at some guards that you should know heading into Wisconsin's Top 250 Expo:

[player_tooltip player_id='1203253' first='Brady' last='Corso'] -- PG -- Neenah

You aren't going to see many shooters better at the high school level than Corso. The 2024 point guard prospect knocked down triples at a high clip last season, helping Neenah to a state championship. He isn't just a shooter, though. The PG is also a good athlete who can get downhill and finish layups at the rim. While he served primarily as a catch-and-shoot shooter as a sophomore, look for Corso to earn an expanded role as a junior for the Rockets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1176560' first='Hogan' last='Demovsky'] -- PG -- De Pere

Demovsky's play this past summer was a big reason why his Team 1848 squad was able to win the Hard Work Region championship on the Prep Hoops Circuit. He isn't the flashiest prospect on this list, but the point guard more than gets the job done. Demovsky is an excellent on-ball defender who uses his speed and quick feet to stay in front of whoever he is guarding. The De Pere standout is also a very efficient shooter from beyond the arc. If opposing defenders leave him open, Demovsky will make them pay.

[player_tooltip player_id='1142122' first='Michael' last='McNabb'] -- SG -- Grafton

McNabb is one of the fastest rising prospects in Wisconsin's 2024 class. While playing for Chapman Basketball Academy this past AAU season, the shooting guard proved that he is a name to know. McNabb is a dynamic scorer who has found a lot of success as a slasher. McNabb has the ability to finish around or through contact in the paint. McNabb is definitely a name I have circled heading into this weekend's Top 250 Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='1289059' first='AC' last='Strok'] -- SG -- New Glarus

While playing for Wisconsin Academy this spring/summer, I thought that Strok was able to raise his stock significantly. The shooting guard has a smooth jumper from deep that opposing defenders must respect. Standing at 6-foot-4, Strok also has great positional size. He uses this size and strength to finish difficult layups over bigger defenders in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1397864' first='A.J.' last='Uttech'] -- PG -- Columbus

Uttech was one of my favorite prospects to watch this summer. The point guard is a very talented scorer who can get buckets from all three levels. From deep, Uttech can knock down three-point shots with ease. In the mid range, Uttech can use his handles to create an open look for himself. And at the rim, Uttech uses his strength and athleticism to get tough shots to fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1289073' first='Keegan' last='Van Kauwenberg'] -- SG -- Kaukauna

I think that Van Kauwenberg has the potential to develop into a really good high school player. Kaukauna has had a number of notable guards walk though its doors in recent years. Van Kauwenberg could be the next standout guard for the Ghosts. The SG is a talented shooter from downtown. The three-point specialist was able to torch opposing defenses this past AAU season.
