While high school classes have been in full swing, on the basketball court many programs are preparing for Fall League games. Here at Prep Hoops PA, our updated 2025 rankings dropped on Tuesday and a variety of talented players are being covered this week. The staff at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania has diligently gathered information and worked extremely hard to develop an extraordinarily comprehensive list of over 325 high school basketball student-athletes. This group of sophomores has the balance of talent to be the most heavily recruited group in a long time throughout the state. Many young men have been in constant communication with college coaches, while a large number of others are starting to garner collegiate attention as well. Listed below are the skilled performers that climbed the rankings for our current update.

Up to #2 - [player_tooltip player_id='991408' first='Meleek' last='Thomas'] / 6'4 combo guard / Lincoln Park Charter High School / This young man has "blown up" tremendously this summer on the AAU circuit. Not only is he gaining attention and offers from big-time division 1 institutions, but he has the opportunity to be selected for the United States Junior Olympic Team after being invited to a tryout in October. When he gets back on the floor with his high school this winter all eyes will be on Lincoln Park looking to make a run at the WPIAL and State Championships. Meleek is setting the standard for the class of 2025 in the Pittsburgh area for recruitment of a variety of young, talented players.

Up to #22 - [player_tooltip player_id='1188636' first='Amere' last='Brown'] / 5'10 shooting guard / Woodland Hills High School / He brings quickness and agility to the court on the defensive end to cause havoc for the opponent on a regular basis. His speed on the football field translates at a high level on the basketball court on the fast break while getting out on the run and finishing at the basket. Amere has been receiving division 1 offers and interest in both sports in his young career.

Up to #32 - [player_tooltip player_id='1189638' first='Michael' last='Santicola'] / 6'3 wing forward / Moon Area High School / An early blooming above-average post player with the skills to step out on the perimeter and knock down mid-range and three-point jumpers. His defense continues to improve as he gains weight and muscle to his long, lanky frame making him a force on both ends of the floor. Michael will be solidified as a leader of his high school team this upcoming season.

Up to #48 - [player_tooltip player_id='1406083' first='Lonnie' last='Greene'] / 6'3 power forward / Jeannette High School / A big, strong, post player with the footwork and soft touch to be a difference maker in the paint for his team. He continues to develop his game working hard to make himself a complete player on both ends of the court gearing up for this high school season on the hardwood. Lonnie has the toughness and tenacity to grab those difficult rebounds in traffic, while not being afraid to mix it up a bit on the inside to provide opportunities for his guards.

Up to #50 - [player_tooltip player_id='1431964' first='Nolan' last='Donnelly'] / 6'4 power forward / Sewickley Academy High School / This big man has shown great improvement in his game from his freshman year while working on a good amount of skills to separate himself from the pack in his section. Not only can he score and rebound at a high level in the post, but now he has developed a quality mid-range jumper to complement his other assets. Nolan has the drive and determination to succeed and help his teammates become successful as well.

Up to #66 - [player_tooltip player_id='1406084' first='Michael' last='Sapos'] / 6'4 power forward / Serra Catholic High School / He is a tough, hard-working kid that uses that football mentality for motivation on the basketball court, especially on the defensive glass. He is willing to set screens and do the dirty work needed to help his team be successful during a game. Michael also can get to the rim consistently from post moves or a variety of dribble moves out on the wing.

Up to #90 - [player_tooltip player_id='1462842' first='Brady' last='Jordan'] / 5'11 combo guard / Mars High School / A quick, skilled guard that likes to push the ball in transition while utilizing his high basketball IQ to run the half-court offense if nothing is available on the break. He can consistently knock down the perimeter jump shot, either from mid-range or the three-point line. Brady has the talent to be a matchup nightmare if being defended by a slower or smaller guard.
