The Combo guard has two signuature skills that can be counted on. He is known as a knock down shooter, who has increased accuracy from the corners. He also is a good on ball defender. He is coming off a year where he helped Liberty to the state title, and has offers from Utah Tech, Houston Baptist and Weber St.
Highlights
Fabello is a terrific floor general that can score the basketball. His play during the high school season, leaves no doubt that he’s one of the best players in his class. His ability to carry his team night in and night out was a huge factor in his rise. The PG has received interest from some D2’s and NAIA’s.
I like the lefties game. Bradley is a role player for a powerful program so his numbers don’t always reflect his game. He shoots the ball well, proving to be most accurate in catch and shoot situations. He’s also a better athlete than given credit, Bradley has shown the ability to play above the rim when finishing in transition.
Haylock does not shoot it particulary well, but tell me something else he doesn’t do? His breakdown ability is big time, and his draw and dish ability isn’t bad either. He’s a pure PG that plays the game with speed, and could be a good fit at the small school level.
Mabry earned his rise, with consistent play over the summer. One of the top high academic player in the state, Mabry’s athleticisim and ability to rebound are tangible assets to any program. Some D3’s and high academic institutes are currently on him, as high academic, athletic big’s are a rare commidity.
Jaeck has made a steady climb throughout the rankings improving a lot over the course of the last two season. He’s an athletic big that runs the floor well and can finish over the basket. If he can show during the high school season, what he showed this summer, then look for him to attract more college attention.
Mcdowell is a guy that impressed me the more and more I saw him. A long, rangy wing, his ability to get out and finish in transition was impressive. I look for Mcdowell to excel this season in Mojave’s up tempo style. The rangy forward can serve as both a back end and frontcourt defensive force.
Had to do a deep dive on Penny, as I only got to see him a handful of times during last high school season. He has a few skills that translate, his ability to shoot it and defend, helped Spanish Springs win their division last season. He’s also a high IQ player that brings some ball security and positive intangibles to his squad.
