Nigel Adamson – 6’5” / Upper Moreland / Kings Unlimited / Power Forward: On offense Adamson’s power low post game gives opponents fits. This fall, he flashed a hint of a mid-range game too. Plus, he rebounds the ball at both ends and is a shot blocking presence. That trifecta will lead to significant minutes for Adamson in 2022-23.
Kevin Beck Kevin Beck 6'2" | CG Father Judge | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / Father Judge / Philly Revolution / Combo Guard: Beck (pic above) has developed into one of the most feared perimeter snipers in SEPA. His logo distance range and quick release are extremely impressive. It will be difficult to keep him out of the lineup because he will space the floor for Judge standouts Ernest Shelton Ernest Shelton 6'3" | CG Father Judge | 2023 State PA and Kevair Kennedy Kevair Kennedy 6'1" | PG Father Judge | 2025 State PA .
Caleb Bridgeman – 6’2” / Plymouth Whitemarsh / 610 City / Combo Guard: The Colonials return several DI level prospects and added standout Chase Coleman Chase Coleman 6'2" | PG Rocktop Academy | 2024 PA via transfer. So, their first-five appears set. Still, we expect the smooth and athletic Bridgeman to contribute by coming off “P-Dub’s” bench to provide scoring and a secondary ball handler. Think Louis Williams in his prime.
Zane Conlan – 6”4′ / Devon Prep / Prim3 Tim3 / Wing: Conlan is a long and muscular prospect, who saw some varsity minutes for DP last season. He can bang on the interior or execute catch and shoot jumpers from behind the arc. His ability to slash to the rim, catch the ball in traffic and then finish strong is underrated. DP graduated a great deal of their scoring punch, so we expect Conlan will see major minutes in 2022-23.
Matt Gardler Matt Gardler 5'10" | SG Marple Newtown | 2025 State PA – 6”0′ / Marple Newtown / Shooting Guard: Gardler is a 3-point specialist who started for Marple’s JV squad last year and received some minutes coming off the varsity bench. In 2022-23 Gardler will be expected to make major contributions for MN’s varsity. He is lethal from behind the arc, but if you overplay Gardler top side, this high IQ prospect will cut backdoor for an easy bucket.
Jakob Harken Jakob Harken 6'1" | CG Perkiomen Valley | 2025 State PA – 6’1″ / Perkiomen Valley / PSB Philly-Harken / Combo Guard: Harken is a solid “three & D” style player who should be part of PV’s regular varsity rotation. He can get up and down the court quickly which allows him to finish break outs with a lay-in or spot up for a transition three. In the half-court, his non-stop off ball movement and high IQ enable Harken to find the open spaces that provide easy looks. On defense Harken is a standout with quick hands who swipes a few each game.
Brycen Martin Brycen Martin 6'0" | CG Scranton Prep | 2025 State PA – 6’0” / Scranton Prep / NEPA Elite-Joyce / Combo Guard: Martin is a three-level scorer and shifty ball handler who can distribute to teammates. When you combine those assets with Martin’s tremendous basketball instincts and defensive prowess, you have a prospect who will be a plus player for Scranton Prep’s varsity squad in 2022-23.
Devon Nelson – 6’0″ / Upper Merion / Gibbs Elite / Combo Guard: Nelson is a fast break phenom who after transferring from Pope John Paul II should jump right into Upper Merion’s starting lineup. At point guard, Nelson’s elusive handles enable him to get into the paint for easy buckets or to kick out to open three-point shooters. When Nelson burns at the shooting guard spot, he drains triples and uses the dribble drive to blow past defenders.
Ben Robinson – 6’0” / Conestoga / East Coast Power / Combo Guard: The 2022-23 season will be a rebuilding one for ‘Stoga’s new Head Coach Sean Forcine and we predict the highly skilled Robinson will be a major part of that effort. Robinson showed back in June at Philly HS Live that he is a scoring threat from anywhere on the floor. Additionally, this young buck plays with poise and is a tenacious on-ball defender.
Nasir Williams – 5’11” / Sankofa Freedom Academy / NEBC Elite / Point Guard: One of this summer’s biggest Class of 2025 stock risers is poised for a fantastic high school season. Williams can score in bunches via dribble drives and the 3-ball. He owns exceptional speed and is a quick decision maker, so Williams can direct SFA’s transition game at a remarkable level. At the other end, Williams is a menacing on-ball defender and puts in work on the glass.
