Foster is another Columbus City League prospect who makes his debut after an impressive performance at the 270 Hoops prospect camp. Foster is an impressive wing guard who can put the ball in the hoop in a variety of ways. Foster led his team in scoring at just over 12 PPG as a Sophomore and is in line to make a big jump as a Junior.
Highlights
Curry is a quick point guard on a Lakota West squad who despite having some talented players transfer out, has one of the deeper teams in SW Ohio. Curry scored 5 PPG as a Sophomore and if he can take a leap as an outside shooter, could improve his scoring volume and efficiency. The GMC is loaded with guard talent and Curry just adds to the long list of guards that will give defenses headaches.
Jones was top 5 in his conference in scoring as a Sophomore and has a good chance to wind up in the top three as a Junior. Jones plays simple basketball on the grassroots circuit, moving the ball quickly and making smart cuts and hitting open shots from downtown. Jones won’t blow you away with ball handling or explosive athleticism, but he knows how to play and is productive. Jones appears like a high priority small school prospect on the hardwood.
Brown was one of the best players on a balanced Hopson Elite 16 U squad that won a lot of games on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring and summer. Brown is a good athlete who is tough to stop when attacking the basket. I’m excited to continue to watch Brown’s development as he’s going to be at the Toledo Top 64 event at the end of the month which will be another opportunity to see how he stacks up against top competition.
