Top 250 Expo: Team 14 Evaluations

The 2022 Indiana Top 250 Expo gave us over 200 of the top 2023-2025 prospects across the entire state of Indiana, and these athletes definitely put on a show this past weekend. We had some of the best players in the class there competing, and we will highlight each and every one of them with our evaluations this week. Today, we will look at all of the prospects from Team 14.
Wright is a 2025 shooting guard who always seems to light up the nets whenever he is on the court. He does not seem to miss when he gets the ball in rhythm on the catch-and-shoot. He also sees the floor and passes the ball well which allows him to facilitate as well as score.
Highlights
Yarling is a smaller 2023 point guard who was excellent at running the offense. He is an outstanding passer and seemed to always have his eyes up looking for the open man. He also showcased some great court vision. Definitely one of the better point guards of the weekend.
Daughtry is a quick 2024 point guard who was a great passer all weekend. He is smooth around the rim and showed off a nice finger roll. Daughtry also shot it well from the outside.
Whitthorne is an athletic 2025 guard who rebounded the ball very well. He can jump out of the building, and he seemed to always position himself well.
Treat is a strong 2025 guard who looked to attack the rim. He has good footwork inside which allowed him to make some nice plays. He also stroked it well from the outside.
Highlights
Metzger is a bigger 2024 shooting guard and was one of the best scorers of the entire weekend, and he seemed to do it in every way. He lights it up from the outside, and he can get to the hole. Metzger seemed to not miss and should be on the radar of many college coaches.

Shepherd is a big 2024 wing who is full of toughness. He finishes through contact and takes it strong to the hole every time. He also rebounds it very well.
Highlights
Kidwell is a strong 2025 post player who is fundamental on both ends of the floor. He is strong on the glass on the defensive end, and he has outstanding touch around the rim.

Huber is a 2024 post who has a ton of fight inside. He is a big body that is hard to move, and he does not let anyone out-physical him. He is also unselfish and passes it very well out of the post.
