Section 2AAA Rundown

Why Mankato East? Despite so many players graduating and transferring, the Cougars have one of the best junior shooters, one of the best sophomore lead guards, and one of the best young bigs in the state. They also have a good coach and a strong program. Can New Ulm take the next step? They were 22-7 a season ago and have two juniors that are very talented. They bring back more than any other top team so this could be the year they make the run they have been working for. Mankato West looked like they were on to a rebuilding year but the transfer of [player_tooltip player_id='1284169' first='Landon' last='Dimler'] really helps them maintain contending status. Marshall will take a step forward whereas Jordan and St. Peter are good programs that will be competitive but graduation could lead to not being quite what they were last year and/or the year before.
