1. Tajh Ariza – St Bernard 2026
Ariza came off the bench for the Vikings, but certainly made a big impact. As a wing, he looked very comfortable handling the ball and getting to where he wanted to be on the court. Hit defenders with a nice crossover and did a good job creating his own shot. He showed off a solid midrange shot off the dribble and consistent range from the three-point line as a catch and shoot player. He runs the break well especially as a ball-handler. Defensively, he has the size and length to be a solid on-ball defender.
2.
Martin Gumwel

Gumwell is a solid center prospect who has drawn interest from a few colleges. He’s long and athletic and uses his size well in the paint. He has quick moves in the post and can establish position well. He showed off a nice little hook shot. He positions himself well in the dunker spot and moves without the ball to get in scoring position; good hands catching teammates passes. He finishes strong at the rim and can finish through traffic. Sets solid screens.
3.

Johnson came off the bench but was an impact player as a freshman backup point guard. He has good handles and good court awareness for being a young player. He keeps the ball moving and doesn’t try to do too much, he stays within his role and sticks to what he’s good at. He showed an ability to score the ball too. He was able to create off the dribble and he can shoot the midrange pull-up jumper in the halfcourt.
4. Hugh Vandeweghe – Loyola 2024
Vandeweghe showed off a versatile offensive skill set. He can handle the ball and he looked comfortable being able to run the break and make the right decisions with the ball in his hands. He can space the floor as a stretch 4/5 with range out to the three-point line and he can knock down the midrange shot in the halfcourt. He moves without the ball too, does a good job rolling to the rim and is able to finish in the paint. Can grab rebounds and box out well.
