Preseason Player of the Year: 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1171681' first='Jonovan' last='Wilkinson'] (Roland-Story)

Wilkinson's ability to make a major impact on the game on both ends of the floor is his most valuable asset. He uses his size, length, and athleticism to defend multiple positions, and his versatility for the league's best team is what earns him this POY honor.

First Team

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1171681' first='Jonovan' last='Wilkinson'] (Roland-Story): 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.6 steals, 49.6 FG%, 79.2 FT%

A dynamic player who is equally adept at creating his own shot or a look for others, Wilkinson is also a standout defender who can defend on the perimeter or bump down into the paint and defend against bigger bodies.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1367392' first='Isaiah' last='Naylor'] (Roland-Story): 17.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.6 steals, 46.2 FG%, 39.8 3P%, 83.0 FT%

The leading returning scorer in the conference, Naylor had a breakout junior year for the Norsemen, showing that he can fill it up in a hurry from all three levels. He has a quick release on his shot and is a good enough ball-handler to blow by defenders and get to the rim.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1469823' first='Richard' last='Daugherty'] (Greene County): 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.3 steals, 81.0 FT%

A 5-11 off-ball guard, Daughterty has been one of the best scorers in the conference for the last few years now. A shot creator who can get to the rim seemingly at will, he should have the ball in his hands more this season following the graduation of Bryce Stalder, the Rams' point guard last season.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1239871' first='Luke' last='Patton'] (Roland-Story): 10.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.6 blocks, 50.7 FG%

A walking double-double who provides some much-needed size for the Norsemen, Patton's ability to control the glass on both ends of the floor, as well as protect the rim defensively, make him invaluable for a Roland-Story team that will be among the best in 2A this season.

2023 Jesse Miller (Greene County): 11.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 48.2 FG%, 37.9 3P%

An interesting 6-6 forward who can score inside and out, Miller is a matchup problem with his ability to stretch the floor, knocking down just under 38% of his 3-point attempts as a junior.
