So, what makes a Prep Hoops “GameChanger?” That is up to the eyes of the beholder. It may be an additional top performer still leftover from our prior event coverage. A player who made a key play that swung the game or maybe knocked in a game-winning shot could be highlighted here. Or, it simply could be a prospect that brought all of the intangibles to the table that led his team to victory. Let's dive on in and highlight some of the GameChangers from our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
Highlights
Lomax changes the game in so many ways with his ability to score at multiple levels. He did what he does best and that was get to the rim and finish around the defense. Had a few monster dunks and once he got momentum, there was nothing the defense could do. He can make a case as the best player on the day.
Brock changes the game with his work around the rim on both ends. He fought on the offense for the ball and once he got it, he was finishing through hard contact. He is also a real solid rim protector and makes it tough for any easy buckets. Was one of the better post players on the day.
Ingram changes the game by how dynamic he is. He gets out in transition a ton and once he has room to work, it is over with for the defense. He shot the three ball well, made sharp passes, and was a stud on defense. An underrated guard to watch for.
Highlights
Hall changes the game by how good of a scorer he is at his size. He was one of the bigger players on the floor but often times played like a wing with how smooth his shot was from 15ft and out. Excellent rebounder as well on both ends. He is going to be a player to watch for the next few years.
Luebbe changes the game by how active he is on both ends. Never takes a play off and just has a fantastic, high motor. He talks on defense and is so quick to adjust at times. Really good on the drive as well and is not afraid to do all the little things. Every team needs a player like Luebbe.
