A lot of high school basketball players in Michigan deserve to celebrate the work that they out into the game. This Labor Day Day, we will look at some of the hardest working players in the state.
Underrated by some and greatly respected by most. It’s no accident that this young man can stack up with any guard in the midwest. Olafioye puts improving his game at the forefront and shows off that work when it comes to game time. You don’t get that foot speed and those handles without being dedicated to the gym.
Highlights
When a superstar departed, Grand Blanc needed a wing to rise to the occasion. Boyd was that guy. Don’t think that it came for free though. It was his work on not just becoming a better basketball player, but to becoming a better athlete as a whole. It’s not surprising that Boyd displays next level talent in multiple sports.
Scott continues to prove himself as a player and as a prospect. Through his hard work and hours in the gym, his game and grown and expanded. Scott continues to become a better shooter and make his physical profile an even bigger advantage than it was before.
Robertson is a next level lead guard that can facilitate and score with some of the best lead guards in the state. He has continued to improve and fine tune his game through every step of his high school career. This dedication and belief in himself has turned him into a special player.
If you watched Boggerty at the David Barns Showcase, you almost have to put him on this list. The kid grinds so hard on the court. He looked like the type of player that would run through a brick wall for a loose ball. Boggerty’s hustle and and grit could take him to a new level next high school season.
