Johnson was one of the best, if not the best athlete I saw at the Expo. Had a couple impressive dunks in transition, one being a lob in traffic that he threw down effortlessly. Long athlete that was smooth getting the rim. Struggled finishing but was impressed how he was shifty getting to the rim. Made a couple tough jumpers, one being a step back 3. Has a unique combination of skill and athleticism. Versatile wing to keep an eye on for the future.
Posey is a quick shifty guard with great vision. Did a great job breaking guys off the dribble to get to the paint and find open teammates. With his speed, was always putting pressure on the defense. Loved him in transition pushing tempo. Has all the athletic tools to be an elite defender and facilitating PG. Excited to follow how he develops offensively.
Quick guard, did a good job getting to the rim. Had great touch on his floater / around the basket. Although I didn’t see him score it lot when I was watching him, you could tell he could get to his spots when he wanted, just wasn’t making shots. Good strong athlete for his age, will be another guy that could have a good career.
Was impressed by Willis’s floor presence. Great poise that always seemed to make the right play. Good 3pt shooter off the catch. Did a little bit of everything all day. Guy to keep an eye on.
Highlights
Martin is a strong, quick, physical guard. Downhill driver that got to the rim at will. Had quick hands defensively constantly disrupting the defense. At his best in transition driving right. As he develops his jump shot and left hand finishing, could be one of the better players in the state by the end of his career.
