PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Tim Franks Tim Franks 6'5" | SG Homestead | 2024 State WI
Franks won the award as a sophomore. If Homestead repeats as league champs, there’s a good bet Franks could repeat as well — although his teammate, Garrison, will probably make a strong case too. Franks was second in the North Shore in scoring last season at 19.3 ppg. He shot 52.8 percent from the floor, including 49.3 percent from 3-point range.
BREAKOUT PLAYER: Juan Guerrero Hernandez Juan Guerrero Hernandez 6'3" | CG Grafton | 2025 State #189 Nation WI
Look for the Grafton sophomore to come into his own this winter. Guerrero Hernandez had a very good summer and is one of the top 2025 prospects in the state. A plus-length, do-it-all lead guard, Guerrero Hernandez averaged 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game during his freshman campaign.
SURPRISE PLAYER: David Bolden David Bolden 6'0" | PG Nicolet | 2025 State WI
Bolden was an honorable mention All-Conference pick as a freshman after averaging 11.0 points and 4.0 assists per game. A point guard that’s wise beyond his years and can control a game, eager to see what Bolden does while paired with an explosive scorer like Hannah. Bolden is quietly one of the better freshman in the state that people aren’t talking about yet.
