Matt Christian – 6’3” / Senior / Methacton / Eastern PA Elite / Combo Guard: This sneaky athletic guard owns a large wingspan and can score the rock at all 3-levels. Christian (pic above) first grabbed out attention at Philly HS Live II when he posted games of 33-points and then 27-points. This NDGP standout is not afraid of the dirty work either. His positioning skills, tenacity and instincts make him a tremendous defender and rebounder.
Eric Gonzalez – 5’8” / Senior / Bensalem / Philly Blue Magic / Shooting Guard: Gonzalez is a speedy two-guard who can shoot the three at an extraordinary clip. He is especially lethal on corner threes. When he is not draining treys, Gonzalez is a plus player on defense who has a knack for picking pockets and knifing through passing lanes at the right time.
Zachary Kirk Zachary Kirk 6'0" | PG Octorara | 2024 State PA – 6’1” / Junior / Octorara / LA Elit3 / Shooting Guard: Kirk’s ball-on-a-string handles allow him to penetrate the paint for buckets or drive and kick assists. His ability to absorb contact in the lane and still convert is impressive. When that contact produces a foul call, Kirk calmly steps to the line and knocks down the free throws. Kirk also owns a nice bag of mid-range scoring moves.
Ryan Nealon – 6’1” / Junior / Abington Heights / NEPA Elite-Coyle / Shooting Guard: Nealon is an automatic 3-pont shooter who owns ridiculous range and a quick trigger. But the asset that really separates Nealon from the pack is that he shoots on the move as well as any prospect we watched this summer. On the spring grassroots circuit Nealon caught our attention with a game where he notched a 30-point first half. Then in July he posted numerous outstanding performances including draining 6 of 7 threes in a game at the AC Jam Fest (NJ). College coaches need to stop sleeping on this kid.
Brent Ricketts – 6’4” / Senior / Seaford (DE) / We R1 17U Select / Shooting Guard: Like most guards in this article, Ricketts can splash deep 3-pointers all day. However, Ricketts is unique in that his athleticism, speed and hops allow him to get out in transition and flush on an opponent’s head. In the half court, he uses screens well to free himself up for open looks or dribble drives.
Jahrel Vigo Jahrel Vigo 6'1" | CG Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA – 6’1” / Sophomore / Allentown Central Catholic / Team Final Red / Combo Guard: This summer Vigo crushed it on the grassroots circuit as well as during action at the Lehigh Valley Summer League and at events like the Hoop Group Future All-American Camp. His ability to score at all three levels is impressive. But more impressive is the poise and composure this true rising sophomore possesses.
Alyjah Warren – 6’0” / Senior / Collegium Charter / Gibbs Elite / Point Guard: Warren is an exceptional floor general style of point guard. His creative handles allow him to score off the dribble with ease. Warren is a high-level spot up shooter as well. This summer displayed improved ability to create space / scoring opportunities for himself. At the other end, Warren is a menacing defender who typically guards the other team’s No. 1 scoring option.
