This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their first season of high school basketball. Here, we take a look and evaluate the players that made up Team 7.
Highlights
Johnson is shooting guard with long legs and shoots it well off the dribble. Pretty crafty finisher and defends really well. Once he adds strength he will be able to take his play to that next level.
Crews is a massive post presence. Has smooth touch but maybe needs to work on finishing more consistently. Runs the floor well.
Highlights
Brown is a shorter shooting guard that defends hard. Had a couple of steals and was the leader of fast breaks a lot here. Quick with his hands and feet.
Coleman is a is a shorter lead guard who is very quick. Played off the ball here a little bit and showed an ability to shoot it well off the catch. A growth spurt would really help him here.
Highlights
Dasgupta is a shorter shooting guard is not super quick but has a strong left handed drive. Real nice floater as well. Smooth guard.
Highlights
Frye is a shorter lead guard that sees the floor well. Plays with a scrappy mindset is a pest on defense.
Kendrick is a shorter lead guard that is a real solid passer. For his size, he has an extremely high vertical. Really good shot blocker as well.
Wilburn is a shorter shooting guard that shot the ball well here. Was at his best off the catch and has a smooth release.
Highlights
Thomas is a bigger shooting guard that has a really high vertical. Played on the ball here a lot made some sharp passes. Plays with a great motor and can get to the rim.
Wells is a shorter stretch four that has a big frame on the wing. He is active on the boards and overall is a good finisher.
