This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their first season of high school basketball. Here, we take a look and evaluate the players that made up Team 6.
Flanigan is a shooting guard that has a great IQ for the game. Defends hard and was constantly making the hustle plays. Does not take a play off.
Smith was one of the most impressive players at the entire showcase this past week. Can get to the rim anytime he wants and just makes the tough shots. He works well off the bounce and see the floor so well. Instantly one of the best lead guards in the 2026 class.
Elmore is an undersized forward plays with a really good motor. Showed some nice work on the baseline and good shot blocking ability.
Crouse is a shooter shooting guard that played his tail off here. Was always going after the loose ball and was aggressive throughout. Really solid finisher right now.
Petty is solid sized small forward right now that rebounds really well. Wanted to see him be a little more actives on the offense but was good at getting boards.
Highlights
Boutros is a small forward with a big frame. Plays with a great motor and cuts well off the ball. More of a slasher at the moment.
In my opinion, Langley was the most impressive player from this showcase. He was a beast at cleaning up the glass on both ends, played with a high motor, and finished well. Created well off the dribble and his motor and athletic ability are hard to compete with.
Highlights
Mcniece is athletic small forward who is very active around the rim. He is a very solid rim protector and cuts well off the ball.
Cain is a big post player that has some good size right now. Although he is a good shot blocker, he is very slow right now and lacks the aggressiveness at his position right now. Needs to work on adding speed to his game. Has the size just needs to work on fundamentals.
