This was a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their first season of high school basketball. Here, we take a look and evaluate the players that made up Team 14.
Wanza is a smaller forward that is a solid athlete. Was at his best on the defensive end and had a few steals.
Short is a is smaller power forward that played super aggressive. Guarded both the wing and the post very well.
Highlights
Nicholson is a small forward with solid athletic ability. Real lanky and has great handles for his size.
Thomson is a shooting guard that has some big size already. Rebounds very well on both ends.
Barton is a very short lead guard but see the floor very well. Ball handles are really solid right now and he has great hands on defense. Couple steals I saw of him.
Fatout is a shorter small forward that plays really hard. Not much on offense so need a little more from him scoring wise. Defensively he has a good motor but got beat a little too easy at times.
Lux is a smaller shooting guard with a pretty shot. Shot were not falling when I watched him but his shot looked good from start to finish. Nice floater as well.
Bradford is a shooting guard with a ton of energy. Had some good decision making on the ball and plays some tight defense.
#477 Robert Reddick – 6’2 SF – McCutcheon:
Reddick is a small forward with some natural athletic ability. Real strong and aggressive and goes at the defense hard.
Chapman is a shorter power forward that has some nice baseline work. Real smooth finisher as well.
