Making the move from Hopkins County Central to Madisonville gives the Maroons a deadly wing scorer that should help them try to knock off Lyon County to get back to Rupp Arena. Marcus averaged 26 points and 8 rebounds last season for HCC and is one of Kentucky’s top uncommitted Seniors.
Staying in the second region, Nelson made the move from Webster County to Lyon County this summer and will provide another weapon for the Lyons. Bradin led Webster County in most statistical categories last year and will be able to plug into the Lyon County backcourt and give them another weapon.

Blunt made the move to Georgetown before the school year ended and was able to get in a full summer of playing with the Warhawks. DeJohn brings some athleticism on the wing to the 11th region favorites. With his length, Blunt has the potential to be a lockdown defender as well.

Hagan isn’t new at Madison Central but he did sit out last season and will finally get to hit the floor for the Indians in the 22-23 season. When last seen at Montgomery County, Harrison was a big time scoring guard who can play on and off the ball. Look for him to make a big impact this season.

Blythe is now at Louisville Moore after being a multi-year starter for Frankfort High. Jordan is lightning quick and capable of getting to the rim against even the best defenders. He has to continue to improve as a shooter but new coach Rich Gatewood has had a lot of past success with guards.
Chambers, like Harrison, missed last season but his was due to a torn ACL that cost him his Junior year. Jamal is a scoring threat both on and off the ball and he will likely play both point and shooting guard for the Tigers this season. Look for him to shoot back up our rankings if he’s back to 100%.
Another transfer into Great Crossing, Skaggs is a big and versatile guard who could start or be a 6th man this season for the Warhawks. Trey can play any position on the court and excels at getting into the paint and kicking out to shooters. Defensively, Skaggs has the size and athleticism to switch and guard multiple positions.
