Centennial will look to build off of back-to-back 20-win seasons. However, this year they will do it with some new faces. They graduate a senior class in which all 6 guys are going to be college athletes. The backcourt duo of Jonah Hibbert and [player_tooltip player_id='1533189' first='Kennedy' last='Warren'] will likely have to step up this year and could each be in for a breakout season. KJ Garris has also looked really good throughout the summer and will provide another scoring threat from the wing. As they move into Region 6AAAAA, the Knights are positioned well for another strong season.

Roster

2023 6'0 G Jonah Hibbert

Hibbert is a do-it-all point guard that can really shoot the ball as well. He's a sneaky athlete and plays hard on the defensive end. Hibbert started several games last year but will now see an increased role.

2024 6'4 G [player_tooltip player_id='1533189' first='Kennedy' last='Warren']

[player_tooltip player_id='1533189' first='Kennedy' last='Warren'] is a lengthy guard that can play multiple spots on the perimeter. He's a confident shooter and doesn't need much space to get his shot off. Warren should be one of the team's primary scorers this season.

2025 6'3 G KJ Garris

Garris is a young guard with a strong frame and a smooth outside shot. Garris also rebounds it really well too. He came on strong at the end of June and will likely be a key contributor for Centennial this season.

2023 5'11 G [player_tooltip player_id='933047' first='Jahmir' last='Smith']-Blount

[player_tooltip player_id='933047' first='Jahmir' last='Smith']-Blount is an incoming transfer from New Jersey that could make an immediate impact for the Knights. Based on his junior year film, Smith-Blount is a 3-level scorer that plays with a lot of toughness and tenacity. He adds to an already talented backcourt.

2024 6'5 W Justin Vernon

Vernon has spent his first two high school seasons developing at Centennial and is now ready to contribute at the varsity level. The 6'5 wing adds some size and length on the perimeter and could play an important role this year.

2023 6'0 G Carter Wit

Carter Wit will provide some more experience and senior leadership when he returns from football. The senior guard shoots it well and could provide a nice spark off the bench.

2024 6'7 C [player_tooltip player_id='1231774' first='Daniel' last='Calhoun']

Calhoun's calling is on the football field where he's an elite offensive tackle but that doesn't mean he can't have a big impact on the court. At 6'7 & 330 lbs, Calhoun will anchor the middle and congest the lane.

2023 6'4 C Cooper Dulion

Dulion is another strong-bodied, physical big that will help Centennial in the middle. He should see an increase in minutes this year as well.
