Despite his ball-handling being an area of growth, he can handle the ball in the open court, push in transition, and attack gaps and pressure the rim in the half-court.

His impact is not always seen on the stat sheet, but he makes winning plays on both ends of the floor. He showed good basketball instincts, knowing when to cut, when to keep the ball moving, when to help defensively, and what his team needed on each possession. He plays well in both transition and the half-court, and with a decent first step to get by his defender, he showed his ability to be a threat off the bounce. He works hard and makes hustle plays that earn him minutes on the floor.

He has to continue to improve his offensive skill set and repertoire, but like many young post players his size, his defense is ahead of his offense. He was a force on the glass and was a rim deterrent on defense, whom ball-handlers did not want to test.
