Jaxon Boschee Jaxon Boschee 6'1" | PG Bemidji | 2026 State MN of Bemidji. This article has a big list of shot creators and Jaxon ranked with the best this weekend. This young man pushed his way into spots that for one of the prettier touches in the event. Made great use of the ball screen to get near the paint but for me, it was his ability to use the pass in the offense to catch and make lazy defenders pay. Expect 3-4 years of really strong numbers for Boschee.
Pierless Davis Pierless Davis 6'2" | SG Champlin Park | 2026 State MN of Totino-Grace. This six foot guard has the look of a prospect that will grow about 3-4 inches and use a smooth wing game to consistently produce. Loved his pull-up touch using those long arms in his developing frame to finish. Has the potential to be a really good wing scorer.
Julian Greer Jr of Roseville. Julian was certainly one of the aggressive scoring talents that really caught my eye. What made him stand out was his relentless attack constantly putting pressure on the initial and secondary defenders. He went straight at his men forcing them to take a charge or get scored on and most of the times it was defenses getting scored on. A scorer to keep an immediate eye on this winter.
Levi Harris Levi Harris 5'9" | SG Elk River | 2026 State MN of Elk River. Levi was certainly one of the fastest players I saw this weekend. Didn’t matter if it was his attack, his transition push, or his sprint back on defense, Harris was one of the quickest players at the event. Elk River looks to have a nice group of 2026 players and Harris is one of the key names on that list.
Max Iversen Max Iversen 6'2" | PG Delano | 2026 State MN of Delano. When it comes to players that created for others Max was near the top of the list. I watched him have a seven assist game while scoring six times. Iverson’s ability to craft space was one of my biggest takeaways from the weekend. Loved how he used fakes, footwork, and a dribble or two to get to space for his attempt or his pass reading the help defenders. Outstanding in transition as well.
Will Kirsch Will Kirsch 6'1" | PG Waconia | 2026 State MN of Waconia. The crafty 5’11 guard was incredible the final game I saw him play. That shooting touch with feet set has been seen the past year but the pull-up was equally as pretty. And seeing Will against younger players helped me remember how quick he is with the basketball as opponents weren’t able to keep up with his pace with the eall. Kirsch had a strong 8th grade year at Holy Family and he should be a four year regular for the Cats.
Joseph Mitchell III Joseph Mitchell III 6'0" | PG Cretin-Derham Hall | 2026 State MN of Apple Valley. When it comes to shot makers Mitchell was the player that really caught my eye. There was one point where Mitchell scored on four straight possessions: he took the point, attacked the paint, and made shots four straight times. This run expanded to seven makes in nine possessions and the defense – who was in immediate help – was not able to get a hand in his face to affect the scoring approach.
***Many more 2026 names tomorrow!
