ECI 16U Selects Lund: Season Overview

This ECI team was made up of all Class A players from ND. Eight of the players are from the EDC and one player is from the WDA. ECI 16U Lund had a great summer of improvement. Starting the first St. Cloud tournament with a rough 1-3 record to ending the year competing against some of the better teams from Minnesota and South Dakota in front of many college coaches. He will be primed to make a big splash for Devils Lake this upcoming season."   [player_tooltip player_id="1164105" first="Turo" last="Moni"] |6'6 PF| West Fargo Sheyenne   "He has made great strides in his play with effort and the intensity that he showed on the court. Moni is a competitor and his ability to shoot the 3-ball will put him in position to play good minutes for Sheyenne this year."   [player_tooltip player_id="1164096" first="Zach" last="Oehlke"] |6'2 SG| Grand Forks Red River   "He is another player that will find minutes on a very good Red River squad. Zach's ability to do the little things and compete for every loose ball while being extremely coachable is what will lead to his success this season." His best abilities are getting to the rim and creating ample amount of opportunity for his teammates." Tate's defensive pressure and shot making have improved a lot over the course of the summer." Jaxson can knock down the 3-ball and hit the mid-range jumper with consistency. If he continues to shoot it well, you should see plenty of Jaxson this winter." His ability to attack the rim and rebound the basketball were very valuable and improved game after game." Riley can put up points in a hurry from beyond the arc. His length and shooting ability make him an intriguing player." Sam is a great help-side defender and really rebounds the basketball well. He will play some good minutes for his St. Mary squad this upcoming season." ECI could always draw up a play to get a good look at three with these two shooting. Coach lund knew they would come through. Both Moni and Miller shot it consistently all season long.
