#6 PHU 6’4 SG Dutch Dowdell Dutch Dowdell 6'6" | SG Olympus | 2024 State #310 Nation UT || Olympus High School || 2024 ||
Dutch is a big time shooter that can absolutely play at the D1 level. At the high school level many teams have tried different things to slow him down and not too many have the players that can slow him down let alone shut him down. Shoots the ball with elite range and precision. Positional size at the SG position. We have seen him do some more things this offseason other than shoot three’s as he has expanded his game as he is getting in the lane and driving o the basket when he gets run off the three. Has the size to post up smaller guards as well. Has some more developmental room in that game of his.
#7 PHU 6’7 SF Chris Cox Chris Cox 6'7" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ || Cottonwood High School || 2024 ||
This kid has hit that stride as he is starting to get those looks that he deserves because he has some translatable talent. He doesn’t just rebound and pass at a high level he can create his own shot and he can shoot the ball. With his size and shooting ability you cannot sag off of him. if you play him to tight he will blow by defenders, especially those with size. Plays above the rim and he can sure turn it up defensively as he can guard multiple positions. D1 written all over this kid.
#8 PHU 6’9 C Kyle Lemke Kyle Lemke 6'9" | C Dixie | 2024 State UT || Dixie High School || 2024 ||
Smart big that keeps it simple. He scores in the paint and he dunks anything and everything he can. Kyle is one of the best rim running bigs in the state as he gets out and runs as Dixie has always been known to get that ball out quickly and his teammates know how to find him on the move. Kyle has soft hands and makes quick moves. Strong over both shoulders but he has a high ceiling. He will end up at a D1. He might stay local and play with his older brother in a few years as well.
#9 PHU 6’8 PF Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6'9" | PF Farmington | 2024 State UT || Farmington High School || 2024 ||
Paul is the ultimate glue guy that does the little things. His movement off the ball allows him to rebound on both ends of the floor and it also open up passing lanes where he can get easy buckets. Defends really well and is a solid shot contester. Paul has developed a nice 15-foot jumper that he can go to in the flow of the offense. He is shooting three-pointers with confidence and next time this year he will have some more opportunities to showcase his growth.
#10 PHU 6’5 CG Owen Mackay Owen Mackay 6'5" | CG Snow Canyon | 2024 State UT || Snow Canyon High School || 2024 ||
Owen is a premier athlete that has real size. Long jumper and he showcases that on the floor. Works his game inside and out and he is a sleeper that we are not sleeping on because his potential is high level. He is a three-level scorer and in time he will refine those skills and show what he can do.
