Kellan Simeneou- Kellan, the sharpshooter for the rockets returning for his senior season will look to light it up again! Shooting lights out since he’s been a freshman in this league, it won’t be to anyone’s surprise that he does it again on his way out. Kellan has unlimited range no matter the gym he is in and when he releases the ball you almost assume it’s going in no matter how he shoots it. From catch-and-shoot 3s to coming off pin-down screens, and creating his own shot, he’s elite at doing it all for his team. After having a great summer with his team buddy buckets, he will look to showcase everything in his game from pull-up jumpers and getting to his floaters.
Kobe Smith Kobe Smith 6'1" | CG Andover Central | 2023 State KS – When you talk about a kid that can do it all and is ready for the next level you have to mention Kobe Smith Kobe Smith 6'1" | CG Andover Central | 2023 State KS name. Smith has a lean body frame and moves very well with it! From posting up smaller guards to showing off his range, he is the andover central go to player that’s looking to give opposing teams a long night. Running the wing spot you have to watch out for him when he’s running the lane. Often times players get caught ball watching and he can sneak behind you and go finish at the rim with ease. His pull up jumper in the mid range area is automatic no matter what time of the day it is! Smith has shown he is the real deal.
Eli Shetler- Shetler has to be the talk of the town with all his recent D1 offers that have come this summer. The 6’6″ shooter causes a lot of mismatch problems for opposing teams no matter the defensive scheme. He has the total package when it comes to shooting. The footwork to get into his shot, the form, his release, to add to that he can shoot over anyone in the city so guarding him becomes extremely tough. What’s something you don’t want to sleep on when it comes to shelter? He doesn’t mind throwing it down above the rim. Eli was a huge reason for the trojan’s success last year, look for him to do the same and get them off to a hot start this season.
Brian Perry- One of the most forgotten about players for this jaguars team, he produces night in night out and does things that isn’t on the stat sheet. One of the best players that can play without the ball and in the flow of the offense. When a player has the ability to play within the offense they are scary because you never know when they are looking to score. Perry doesn’t just score, he rebounds and defends at a high level. What makes Brian so special? Well when you see him its instantly his frame. Extremely strong and athletic, doesn’t play out of control, its no doubt that he will be playing for years to come with how he takes care of his body. Really good mechanics with his shooting and high IQ player, whoever gets him at the next level is getting a player that will impact the game right away and a steal.
Jasiah Shield- Shields coming off arguably his best summer performance wise has shown why he needs to be on everyone radar. He has ELITE quickness and it makes him extremely tough to defend. Shields will be shifty with the ball getting downhill and then finish amongst the trees with the best of him. Extremely crafty around the rim and gets there whenever he wants to, he’s also worked on putting on a defensive clinic. From acrobatic lay ups, to floaters, runners, crossovers, in and out, he has all the makings of being an elite guard. He will look to carry this energy over to the school season helping this loaded derby team go far in the playoffs.
