Every college program can always use size on its roster. The Palmetto State has some players that could really look to help some college programs moving forward from the post position. Let’s take a look at some of these post players right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Palmetto State.
The NCAA Live Period is the last period for D1 College coaches to be out to evaluate players this summer. The period will end on Sunday afternoon.
Crawford is a slender and rangy forward who can change a game in a hurry from around the paint. Brandon is rim protector at times and does a great job of altering and challenging shots on the defensive end. He has a nice set of hands to catch anything thrown his way. Crawford has really come on this season and continues to keep on improving with his game. Brandon won’t hesitate at all to step-out and play face-up to the basket at times.
Rivers is getting better every time he touches the floor this spring and summer. Donovan really looks to go to work down low on the block. He has a nice left-handed touch to go step outside and stretch the defense at times. Donovan will play the game on contact and doesn’t mind carving out space in the paint. He always looks to stay active on the floor in being a mover and a screener.
Cusano has really picked up some traction this summer with his play on the Grassroots Circuit. Missouri State and Navy have offered the forward from Hilton Head Prep this summer. Sean is long and rangy forward who has the ability to play inside-out on the floor. Cusano has a good skill set and the ability to make some more noise in this last NCAA Live Period.
Wilkins is a run-jump-athlete that can cover a lot of ground on the floor. Jamarcus fills the lane in transition very well and really looks to be a quick leaper at times. Wilkins seems to be getting more comfortable each time out with his play on the hardwood. Look for him to have a big season for the Cavaliers up in Roebuck.
