We saw a long of talented players on Friday, here is another big group of kids that impressed in Chicago during the live period!

After the AAU Coach, the father of the player, and the player himself corrected me on twitter I am now aware that number one from Colorado Collective is not the player listed on the roster, he is in fact [player_tooltip player_id=’1420265’ first=’Tyson’ last=’Monck’], a fired up guard with a gorgeous shooting release and the willingness to go Dennis Rodman for a loose ball. Monck scored 15 a game last year at Vista Ridge High School and he grabbed seven boards a contest which does not surprise me, the young man plays with a ton of effort. He’s the type of competitor that I think many coaches would love.

As for potential, Adien Peck has a ton of it it seems. The Colorado Collective 6’7 wing/forward from Rock Canyon has some stretch four to him and some skilled wing to him. Surely the look of a prospect who has a lot of growth to come in his future, but he was highly productive yesterday as his team beat Lightning Dunham.

[player_tooltip player_id=’1409365’ first=’Carson’ last=’Koepnick’] from West Salem High School led Coulee Country to a double overtime win and this constant effort rim running wing had 30 points making 12 of 17 shooting.

Coulee Country teammate Kodi Miller scored 25 and his mix of three point shooting and transition push was outstanding.

[player_tooltip player_id=’1345985’ first=’Leroy’ last=’Barnes’] of Minnehaha Academy and Real Phenom really found a spot in my hoops heart with his effort on the glass and his aggressive attack. Had 19 points and 11 rebounds last night.

[player_tooltip player_id=’962306’ first=’Michael’ last=’Kirchner’] is a MIAC/NAIA guy who I think should be watched. His pull-up touch, touch on the move, and three point touch are eye opening. Had some clutch makes for Real Phenom scoring 16 points. He is from St. Thomas Academy.

[player_tooltip player_id=’962257’ first=’Logan’ last=’Tuckner’], may we welcome you into the Club! The 40% Club! A club for the elite shooters that shoot regularly at a 40 percent clip at the arc. In the games I have looked at this year Logan is a member (from Minnesota Lightning and Rochester JM). Had 18 in a win over the Barnstomers.

[player_tooltip player_id=’1339196’ first=’Aeron’ last=’Stevens’] of the Minnesota Lightning can shoot it from the arc, he has back to the basket game, he moves well and scores on the move, and yes, we are seeing that Stevens can flush on you with a willing excitement.

[player_tooltip player_id=’1214457’ first=’Will’ last=’Kutzler’] is again making us take notice. The 6’7 forward continues to shoot it at a high level at the arc and on the move. Another Lakeville North guy, another WOTN guy, he hit four threes against EG10.

[player_tooltip player_id=’1226395’ first=’Baiden’ last=’Bean’]’s pop out of a separation move ranks with the best. He’s a 6’2 guard from Farmington and WOTN and the Iowa Barnstormers could not move their feet with him yesterday so Bean scored 17 points and dished out five assists.
