Summer Class of 2023 Stock-Boosters

Tucker has great size for a wing standing at 6’6, and one of the best shooting strokes in the state. He has a good frame which allows him to play on the wing or battle down low when needed. With his great shooting stroke, Tucker is a player who forces hard closeouts and has shown the ability to make a strong rip-through and get downhill where he is very good at drawing fouls and has a soft touch on floaters.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1284506" first="Tyler" last="HUNSINGER"] - Denver South</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1284506" first="Tyler" last="HUNSINGER"] is a high GPA prospect who is one of the best bucket getters in the state. When moving off of the ball Tyler uses his high IQ of the game to create openings for himself on the floor. Off of the catch, he is great at catching his feet set and has a super quick, consistent shooting stroke. While Tyler is known as a knockdown shooter, he is also a crafty finisher near the rim.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1432264" first="Jamar" last="Mitchell"] - Fort Collins</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1432264" first="Jamar" last="Mitchell"] is a big combo-forward with an old-school, fundamental game that gets the job done. Jamar is a match-up problem for opposing teams, he is often more skilled than big men at a similar size and has a great set of post moves he can go to when wings are guarding him. In the post Jamar has a turnaround jumper he often goes to that has great form and he stays composed when fading away allowing him to knock them down at a high clip.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1420183" first="James-Kyren" last="Allen"] - Eagle Ridge Academy</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1420183" first="James-Kyren" last="Allen"] is a raw lefty athletic forward who has been improving his skills and confidence on the court. Kyren has great height and frame for a forward standing at 6’6 almost 6’7. He has been an exciting fastbreak rim runner who finishes above the rim making exhilarating slam dunks. Using a good frame he is a player is a solid rebounder, who shows potential to be a great second-chance opportunity creator.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1285134" first="Hunter" last="Guiles"] - Valor Christian</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1285134" first="Hunter" last="Guiles"] is a shooter with an untraditional form but a knockdown jumper. Hunter is a player who can knock down four or more threes in a game and once he is on fire, I have seen games where he made seven or eight threes. He has improved his passing ability, he often makes flashy no-look passes to find cutting teammates, he also has a good skill of making the "touchdown" full-court passes to cutting teammates. The next level to Hunter’s game would be to evenly look for his shots and to set up teammates, he has shown flashes of great passing, and if you have seen him play you know he is one of the best pure scorers in the state.</p>
