[player_tooltip player_id='1421530' first='Layke' last='Wold'] |5'10 G| Chester

He is an elite shooter from outside the 3-point line. Wold can fill it up from deep! He also has a sweet floater. Layke is an above-average defender with a great work ethic to rebound the basketball. This athlete has a ton of potential and upside..

[player_tooltip player_id='1421531' first='Hayden' last='Sprik'] |5'10 G| Platte-Geddes

A great athlete who can shoot from outside or drive into the paint and finish at the rim. Sprik is an excellent defender with a great knack for getting deflections and steals. Hayden is an intriguing player and athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529876' first='Nash' last='Peterson'] |5'11 G| Harrisburg

He is a knock-down 3-point shooter. Nash also has a great mid-range game. He plays with great court vision and passing ability. Peterson is a good defender that works hard to contest every shot within his long reach.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529877' first='Beau' last='Leslie'] |5'10 G| Brandon Valley

A grinder that is willing to do the little things to win. Leslie is a great rebounder and defender. As a 5'10" guard, he can finish amazingly well at the rim. Beau is a courageous and fearless player. He can also cash in the open 3-pointer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529878' first='Braxton' last='Pravecek'] |6'1 G/F| Estelline-Hendricks

The Redhawk is a good shooter with nice handles. Pravecek can drive past you and finish at the rim or pull up for a jump shot and nail it. Braxton is a solid defender who can guard any position on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529879' first='Myles' last='Myer'] |6'4 F| Parker

This kid has a huge ceiling. Myer has a great touch in the paint and he rebounds the ball incredibly well on both ends of the court. Myles is a total team player who will do whatever it takes to help the team win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529880' first='Spencer' last='Schramm'] |6'5 F| Sioux Falls Lincoln

This BIG is a great shot blocker. Schramm is also a very good passing forward. If the defense gives the Patriot space on the perimeter he will knock down the open jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529881' first='Aaron' last='Rosenberger'] |5'11 G| Harrisburg

This Tiger is an elite defender that gets after it! Rosenberger is a good ball-handler that loves to create for his teammates. Aaron can also shoot a high percentage from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529882' first='Bennett' last='Engalls'] |5'11 G| West Central

He is a great shooter for his young age. Engalls loves to rebound, you have to love a guard that gets after the boards! Bennett will make the extra pass and he gets his teammates good looks.

Team Comments from coach Zach Edman

Best Memory from the AAU Season

"Being down 18 in the second half and 9 with 2 minutes to go against a really good Minnesota team and coming back and beating them. They had 2 kids who were at least 6'5” and very skilled, and we kept battling, never quit. Eventually, we went on a run late in the game, got big stops, and got the win. Thanks to a great 3 made by [player_tooltip player_id='1421530' first='Layke' last='Wold'] with less than 25 seconds to play."

Hardest Workers

"I had a team full of hard workers. At the same time, Myles Meyer is one of the hardest workers I've ever gotten to coach. He comes to practice every day trying to get better. He always asks questions during drills about why we are doing a certain thing or what he can do in his spare time to get better. Even during games, he would come to the sidelines with questions about what he did or he would have comments about what he did wrong and can improve on."

Best Defenders

"[player_tooltip player_id='1421531' first='Hayden' last='Sprik'] is a nightmare for opposing guards. He loves to pick you up full court and get in your shirt and make opposing guards work hard just to get the ball across half court. Then once the other team does get into their offense in the half-court, he is going to jump passing lanes and make it impossible to make easy passes and get to the lane. I can't count how many steals and transition layups our team had this year that started because of his defensive presence."

"[player_tooltip player_id='1529877' first='Beau' last='Leslie'] is also a great defender. He took every defensive matchup personally and was determined to not let anyone score on him. It didn't matter if he was guarding someone 4 inches taller than him and outweighed him by 20 pounds. He was going to be physical and if they were going to score on him, they were going to have to shoot a tough shot. He was also my best rebounder despite never being one of the tallest guys on the court."

Most Improved

"[player_tooltip player_id='1529878' first='Braxton' last='Pravecek'] improved tremendously throughout the summer. The more he grew into his role and realized how best he can impact a game, the more our team succeeded."

Go-To Player

"There were many times throughout the season we needed a big bucket and every time the ball found its way to [player_tooltip player_id='1421530' first='Layke' last='Wold']. He just has a great feel for the game and knows when his team needs a shot, that he can get open and knock it down. The best part was seeing his teammates trust him to make the right decision in those moments. Whether it be taking the shot, or driving into the paint and kicking it out for someone else to take it."

Offensive Threats

"Our biggest offensive threats were [player_tooltip player_id='1421530' first='Layke' last='Wold'], [player_tooltip player_id='1529876' first='Nash' last='Peterson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1421531' first='Hayden' last='Sprik']. All 3 of them had the capability to catch fire from outside the 3-point line at any given moment. They also are all very unselfish players and love to drive into the paint and score or create shots of the rest of the team which is exactly how you want your best players to play."
