Kadyn Betts 6’8 SF/SG Pluto Prospects 17u
Betts is a highly skilled wing that was effective as a versatile 3-level scorer. As a flame thrower from the outside, Betts is a shooter that can provide elite floor spacing and get hot quickly from deep- forcing defenses to close out and open up his drive game. His smoothness was always to get everything within the flow of the offense. Rather it was running off screens, moving off-ball, attacking mismatches, or being able to shoot off the catch, Betts scored efficiently. Even in transition, Betts showed he could launch them from deep or use his length to finish inside.

Alijah Adem Alijah Adem 6'2" | PG Spring Valley | 2024 State #174 Nation NV 6’2 SG/PG Chosen Few 17u
Adem is a combo guard with unlimited range and an ability to create his own off the dribble. He uses this superb accuracy from deep off the dribble to his advantage when attacking defenders. Adem plays wells off of head fake, hesitations, uses changes of speed and has a deceptive quickness to his game that makes him tough to guard. When he’s at the rim, he can finish with touch and navigate crowded paints. He does an excellent job of drawing fouls and converting at the line at a high rate.

Anquan Boldin Jr Anquan Boldin Jr 6'5" | CG IMG Academy | 2023 FL 6’5 SG/SF
Boldin’s second day made some buzz around the circuit. With a next-level frame, skill set, and potential, Boldin quietly proved to be one of the better wings in the country. As a high-level shooter off the dribble and the catch, he’s an asset in any offensive system as a floor spacer and viable scoring option. He showed shot creation potential when putting the ball on the floor and playing off his pump fake. With a nice frame, he finishes well and uses his size on the defensive end to guard both the wing spots. Lastly, Boldin is a solid athlete with wiry strength, subtle explosiveness, and a solid vertical. This adds to his potential to be a lockdown defender and up his value as a prototypical 3&D wing.

Joel Speckman 6’9 C/PF Pluto Prospects 17u
Speckman was one of the better big men I observed on the tournament on day 2. His efficiency out the post opened up the offense for his team. He showed an ability to work with his back to the basket or face up and get to the basket in two dribbles or less. He also showed excellent strength when initiating and absorbing contact around the basket and finishing through defenders. When the defense doubled him, he proved to be a willing passer who could find cutters or start a swing for an open shot. Lastly, Speckman showed comfort guarding the perimeter on switches which is a major plus for someone his size.

Keenan Johnson Keenan Johnson 6'7" | SF West Nassau | 2023 FL 6’8 SF/PF 904 Elite 17u
Johnson is a rangy wing oozing in versatility due to his size and diverse skill set. Offensively Johnson is a marksman with a high release point and a quick release. He did a great job of shooting off the catch and converting on good looks. On the defensive end, he shows extreme effort and positional fluidity, which is crucial in today’s game. He showed he can move his feet on the perimeter but is highly effective as a rim protector when rotating or playing as a small-ball five. Did an excellent job of blocking and faltering attempts at the rim.
