The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. For stop number 9 we head to Atlanta Georgia for our certified event. The event was home to several sharpshooters. In this article, we take a look at the top Snipers from the event.
Will Kutzer 6’7 SF Wear Out The Net 2023 – Kutzer is the textbook small ball 4. He spaces the floor with a nice, accurate outside shot. He shot it well in catch-and-shoot action, but also showed the ability to shoot the ball coming off screens. Has good positional size, and textbook mechanics to be a prototypical stretch 4 at the next level.
Caden Wilkins Caden Wilkins 6'7" | SF Bettendorf | 2024 State #196 Nation IA 6’6 SF Iowa Barnstormers 2024 – Wilkins made me stop. The Barnstormers always have guys so I veered off my schedule to take a look at them and found my eyes attached to Wilkins. He was good in catch-and-shoot situations, showing a quick release. He also hit a couple of pull-ups, showing that he can shoot it off the bounce as well.
Jordan Townsend Jordan Townsend 5'11" | PG Cedar Falls | 2025 State IA 6’0 PG Iowa Barnstormers 2025 – Townsend was one of the first snipers I saw in the weekend. He is a knockdown shooter that doubles as a streak shooter. Townsend sprayed three’s from all over the corner, hitting catch-and-shoot treys, as well as some off the bounce pull-up three-pointers, making four, in the game I saw.
Jayden Hackett 6’4 SG 1848 2023 – Hackett has a smooth game, highlighted by his shooting ability. Good size shooter, with a textbook stroke. The 6’4 wing knocked down several three-pointers in the game I watched.
Ethan Heck 6’5 SF Wisconsin Crusaders 2023 – I was impressed with Heck’s ability to knock down shots off the move. The wing executed the Crusader’s offense, completing several plays with threes off screens. He has good size and shoots the ball with textbook form and consistent release.
Almere Carson 6’1 SG EG10 2023 – Carson has been one of my favorite sleepers on the circuit and he does a ton of things on the court. At first, I thought he was more a scorer than a shooter, however, the lefty has been too good shooting the ball to ignore. He can get it off the bounce and has deep range on his shot. If nothing else, his degree of difficulty alone made him one of the top shooters from the event.
Anthony Doppler 6’1 North Dakota Phenoms 2023 – Doppler is a shooter’s shooter. I’m still a bit mad that he was double froze at the line forcing him to make 4 free throws to tie the game. Nevertheless, I digress. Doppler has textbook form and his shot was automatic in catch and shoot action, showed the ability to shoot the ball off the move, and despite the free-throw fiasco, was a knock-down free throw shooter. The North Dakota commit was one of the better shooters at the event.
Anthony Galvin Anthony Galvin 6'0" | PG Cedar Falls | 2025 State IA 5’11 PG Iowa Barnstormers 2025 (featured image) – Iowa is home to shooters, and Galvin was another Barnstomers sniper. He only needed to see one go in before he was on fire. He knocked down several wing threes in catch-and-shoot action. Consider the floor spacing PG on fire as he knocked down 5 threes in the game I watched.
