The Hillcrest guard is o</span></span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ne of the best dime droppers I’ve seen this summer. Macadory always seems m</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">ore interested in getting his teammates involved than creating a shot for himself. His facilitating is a true gift, the kid </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">has every pass in his arsenal, combined with terrific quick-think and outstanding decision-making skills. </span>

<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;">6th ranked lead guard in the state, Kayden Dotson has proven to be a true modern-day point guard, the type that grabs the defensive rebounds to quickly start an offense in transition. </span></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">While running the show, Dotson h</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">as the ball on a string and he </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">protects it exceptionally well, using stop and start dribbles to blow by the defense whenever he’s pressured the full length of the court, and also using</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> short dribbles and quick change of speeds to keep the defense guessing and off-balance. When it comes to scoring, [player_tooltip player_id="1217802" first="Kayde" last="Dotson"] is always there when you need him, one of the best scoring guards with his back against the wall,</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> the back-to-back state champion can drill pull-up three-pointers in bunches, especially from the top of the key where Dotson appears to be nearly automatic, not to mention the tough layups in traffic that he can convert with the defense draped on his back. Dotson is one of those can’t miss prospects, I admire how this young man a</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">lways comes up big in the most clutch situations on both ends of the floor. </span>

Washington’s</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> one of the most exciting point guards in all of North Texas, he </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">plays the game off sheer Instinct, reaction, and craftiness, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">always </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">making the correct reads and </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">playmaking </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">at top speed with great quickness, showing a knack for c</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">hanging his speed and using hesitations effectively to maneuver through defenses. </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">The Lake Highlands floor general also </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">shoots it well off the dribble, particularly in the mid-range where he has a </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">quick dribble to pull-up shooting motion,</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> along with</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> the ability to score with pull-ups, floaters, and tough acrobatic lay-ins. Washington is the type of player who impacts the game in just about every way possible, he’s a h</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">ard-nosed defender who looks to lock his man down with his fast-moving feet, and he shows the ability to anticipate the play and run through passing lanes for the steal, he keeps everyone involved with his facilitating, and he also extends plays with his offensive rebounding and putback layups. </span>

<strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id="1220767" first="Zion" last="Pipkin"] | 6’1 | PG | Spring Westfield High School | C/o ’24</em></strong>
<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;">2025’s top Texas point guard, [player_tooltip player_id="1220767" first="Zion" last="Pipkin"], consistently showcases natural tendencies and skills at the point guard position starting with his excellent feel for the game on both sides of the ball. While running the show, Pipkin does</span></span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> an outstanding job of getting his teammates involved early on in games, he’s often responsible for the bulk of Westfield’s points due to his drive and kick facilitating. Whether he’s passing or scoring Pipkin is</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> constantly putting pressure on the rim with his aggressive style of play. Pipkin has several ways of getting downhill and finishing a play with his top-notch footwork, this kid has all types of hop steps and eurosteps that are already on another level. When it comes to shooting the rock, [player_tooltip player_id="1220767" first="Zion" last="Pipkin"] is lethal from all three levels. In the m</span></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">id-range, he’s a sniper, no matter how you defend him Pipkin he’s always capable of getting the shot he’s looking for. The Westfield lead guard shows a knack for </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">posting up and playing with his back to the basket, often giving his defender a few strong bumps to the chest with his broad shoulders before turning over the opposite shoulder for the turnaround jumper. Out of </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">the high post, Zion likes to use a dirk-styled fade away, falling backward with his right knee up to keep the separation from the contesting defense. He a</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;">lso shows a solid outside shooting prowess, usually sizing the defense up as he walks them to down before swiftly stepping into his pull-up jumper with rhythm. Not only does [player_tooltip player_id="1220767" first="Zion" last="Pipkin"] display all of the skills to be one of the best in the country but he’s also developing a college-ready body to go along with it, </span></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">already displaying a strong mature build with an impressively wide wingspan and huge hands for his height, his b</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">road shoulders work wonders for him on the dribble drive, allowing Pipkin to absorb and bounce off of all of the contact that comes his way. </span>

<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="1358204" first="Michael" last="Collins"] is a dynamic all-around, high motor, intense, and electrifying team first ballplayer who always brings great energy and competitive nature to the floor. Defensively, the pressure he puts on the ball allows him to force turnovers at an incredibly high rate which often translates to the offensive end where Collins is a master of leading and finishing the fastbreak. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Very unselfish, particularly on the open floor, Michael uses his breakaway speed to get all the way to the basket before tossing a pass to a trailing teammate for the open lay-in. Tremendous athlete, explosive, and has a s</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">trong muscular build for a player of his age and stature.</span>
