6’5 W Tyrin Jones || Kongo Elite/ Utah Prospects Adidas 3SSB || 2025 ||
Been watching this kid develop and he has been getting some solid run as he has shown burst and change of speed. Also looks like he has some pop when it comes to attacking the rim. This past weekend we saw him play against some stiff competition and he was able to do some other things that really made him standout on the floor. Tyrin was active on the boards doing the little things like attacking the boards on both ends of the floor. He was moving without the basketball. Hit a few jumpers and made the easy bunny’s as well. This kid is going to be a prospect that gets better in time as he develops that lean frame.
6’2 CG Hunter Jackson || Utah Premier || 2025 ||
Hunter played up a year which was beneficial for him as you could probably not tell that he was one of the younger ones on the floor. Catch and shoot and shot ready is something that seems to come natural as Hunter really waste no time on those opportunities. Moves well when he is dribbling while he attacks, seems to stay composed as well. Really like that he doesn’t allow anyone to speed him up. He will have a solid year next high school season as he is a player to really keep an eye on.
6’2 G Coleman Atwater || Utah Stars UA Rise || 2025 ||
When it comes to development and getting better you have to really take a deep look at what Coleman is doing out there. Coleman is getting better with his handle and he is also getting better shooting off the bounce. Catch and shoot is great and that all around scoring is really there. He is getting quicker off the dribble. Coleman should get some varsity run and if he gets it going like he is at the grassroots level at the high school level you will see him really contribute.
6’7 F Chamberlain Burgess || Utah Prospects Adidas 3SSB || 2025 ||
It seems like it is starting to click physically and IQ wise for a player with some major size potential in Chamberlain as he has been timing blocks and simply contesting shots a lot better without creating so much contact. He is rebounding a lot better but you can still see that he is still raw which is great because that ceiling is still high. The best part of his development is that he is getting less frustrated and just playing hard, that is all you can ask for from a young big that needs to trust the process.
6’5 F Wesley Murdock || UBC Elite || 2025 ||
We saw Wesley last year and he has really improved. He is a tough rebounder that screens and has a tough physical game. He is good around the rim and he might end up being a late bloomer on the basketball court but you will get a lot out of him with how hard he plays.
