6’5 G Yaw Reneer || Utah Prospects 3SSB || 2022 ||
Although Yaw is not a 2023 he is a player out there looking to bolster his recruiting in July as he does have some offers but could really turn some heads with his elite defense as he can guard 1-3 at the D1 level as he uses his strength and quickness and with a soccer background he has great footwork. He is that player that can help a team get better with his effort at the defensive end. Yaw still has room to get better as his shot improves from the outside and he is actually attacking the rim better this summer. He will be in South Carolina at the 3SSB Tournament that starts Wednesday of next week.
6’5 G Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT || Utah Stars UA Rise || 2023 ||
Chudi can score in a hurry and with an uptempo style of play in high school he really doesn’t need much to transition back to club ball. He has length and when he sees a challenge he really turns it on. He has a great feel for the game and he shoots it well, attacks. the rim with force and absorbs contact while finishing. He will be in Cartersville, Georgia on the 6th of July.
6’8 F Isaac Garrett Isaac Garrett 6'8" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT || Salt Lake Rebels || 2023 ||
Isaac is a long lanky player that can step outside and stretch the floor with his shooting and he can also make a few moves and get to the rim. He has good timing defensively on block shots and rebound that also translates over to the offensive end as he can get a put-back dunk with the way he crashes. He is a physical kid and he brings a lot of toughness to a team. Isaac will be at Summer Sweet 16 in Garden Grove, California.
6’6 SF Landon Shaw Landon Shaw 6'6" | PF Skyline | 2024 State UT || Kongo Elite || 2023 ||
The Skyline product could be a real sleeper as he is very well used at the club level as he can over power some players on the post with his strength and footwork as well. He will be a player to watch at Summer Sweet 16 in Garden Grove, California during the live period.
6’6 W Bowen Hammer Bowen Hammer 6'8" | CG Fairmont Prep Academy | 2023 CA-S || Las Vegas Knicks || 2023 ||
Bowen took his time but he has proven to be a D1 playe rthat gets it doen when he needs to. He can shoot the rock from deep and he has a great handle that gives him space to shoot or create to the rim. He is a bouncey guard that can play the 3 at the next level. With his improved shooting he could really be a 2 guard at the next level. Super tough in the post going to the rim or fading away as well. He is a must watch player that is somewhat off the radar as he plays in Southern Utah.
