Vincent Rogalski (Kessel Heat 17U)
New name from Mundelein who is a 2024 prospect playing up jumped on our radar Friday night. He kept his team playing with only four guys early by shooting it well from three and making difficult shots in the paint.
Collin Wainscott Collin Wainscott 6'2" | PG Marmion Academy | 2023 State IL (IBA Illinois Stars 17U)
Wainscott is a big time three point threat as a combo guard from Marmion. That was on full display as he made threes in bunches. Pesky defender that gets a couple steals a game and has a floater game to compliment his shooter.
Garrett Cook (Illinois Valley Warriors 17U)
Cook had a monster showing for the Warriors on Friday. Got to the foul line at a high rate and played tough with his strong frame attacking downhill. Not the most projectable kid but got the job done with his productivity.
Matas Castillo Matas Castillo 5'11" | PG Lemont | 2023 State IL and Rokas Castillo Rokas Castillo 5'11" | PG Lemont | 2023 State IL (Full Package Black 17U)
The Lemont twins helped lead their team to a championship over the weekend. We saw them get off to a great start on Friday night. Matas was extremely active on the defensive end getting steals at the point and taking it the other way for acrobatic layups. Rokas is a scorer with flair that loves to make nifty plays around the rim. Each should be D2 priority guys!
Jeremiah Fears Jeremiah Fears 6'1" | PG AZ Compass Prep | 2025 State #31 Nation AZ (Hoops 4 Health 17U)
Fears made a case for #1 in 2025 with a strong weekend for Hoops 4 Health. Explosive ball handler that can get buckets from all three levels. Shifty ball handler that can create off the dribble making older defenders look silly at times. Gets out in transition with speed finishing well through or around contact. Range on his shot to well beyond the three point arc.
Sonny Williams Sonny Williams 6'1" | PG International Sports Academy | 2023 OH (Hoops 4 Health 17U)
The Niles Notre Dame combo guard had a strong outing on Friday night when we saw Hoops 4 Health in their first round matchup. Good frame with strength that can attack downhill with force. Shot it pretty well from three off the catch. Was most impressed with his passing in the half court zipping the ball all-around the floor. Low-major/D2+ guy that is undervalued.
Donovan Collins (M14 Adidas Gold 17U)
Plainfield North 2023 combo Donovan Collins is more of a scoring guard that has a clean pull up game from both two and three. Knocked in an array of jumpers in their opening round game. Transferred from Bolingbrook for his senior campaign.
Ethan Andre Ethan Andre 6'0" | PG Belvidere North | 2023 IL (M14 Adidas Gold 17U)
Andre lit it up on Friday night with his shot making. The Belvidere North 5’10” point guard can really shoot it from the perimeter as he hit five triples in the game we saw. Makes contested shots and was effective from a variety of spots from beyond the arc. Makes the extra pass and is a solid decision maker in the half court. Nice small college guy.
Tristian Ford Tristian Ford 6'2" | PG Chi-Prep | 2025 State #158 Nation IL (Team Rose 16U)
Ford had an excellent showing for Team Rose in both games we saw. The lengthy combo guard plays with a lot of swagger which translates over to his teammates. Kid wins off the bounce with his slick handles getting where he needs on the floor to hit shots. Loves to set up his pull up three shot with hesitation and shifty moves making his defender think he is going to drive. Acrobatic shot maker around the rim and is lightning quick in transition. The 2024 point guard has D1 ability.
Emersen Davis Emersen Davis 5'11" | PG Brooks School | 2024 IL (Team Rose 16U)
Davis played well off of Ford especially in the first game that we saw. This Danville product is a smooth ball handler that has acceleration, makes good reads as a passer on the move, and can hit a three off the catch or side step.
