Bryson Curry Bryson Curry 5'11" | PG Lakota West | 2024 State OH 6’0 PG Shining Star s-Price (Lakota West)
Curry helped Shining Star s with his play on both ends of the floor. Got paint touches with his great secondary speed and downhill attacking mentality. Showed he could defend either guard spots and effectively control the basketball.
Cash Hayden 6’6 SF Shining Star s-Price (Indian Hill)
Hayden has a very high ceiling as he continues to develop and had promise for Shining Star s. Long athlete. Has good court awareness around the rim and showed he could create for himself when in the paint. A little unpolished in some areas but shows drive and promise.
Elijah King 6’5 C Mid Ohio Pumas -Brenning (Gahanna Lincoln)
King was a bully against Shining Star s as he used his 6’5 football frame to punish opposing bigs. Mainly was utilized in the pick-and-roll which he was on the receiving end of several open layups off screens. Cleaned up around the rim with his powerful frame combined with athleticism.
Elisha Jones Elisha Jones 6'1" | CG Little Miami | 2024 State OH 6’0 PG Ohio Crossover Red (Little Miami)
Jones didn’t have a high volume offensive game, but he scored the ball at the right times and gave Ohio Crossover Red a shot at beating Moss Elite in their Platinum bracket game. Jones showed some ice in his veins by knocking down crucial shots for OCA when they needed a spark. Not the most athletic player you’ll find, but can fill it up offensively if needed.
JP Dragas 6’1 SG Lake Erie Defenders (Madison)
Dragas was dangerous for the Defenders as they clinched the Gold bracket championship at 16U. Dragas understands the game from a level of intangibles and did so much on the offensive end beyond scoring. Spaced the floor and made guys better with his distributing. Covers a lot of ground defensively and uses his speed to his advantage.
