He’s very athletic, plays the game with a high motor, was one of the most versatile players in the division and put together consistent games throughout the event.
Big Shots Elite NC 2024 Guard Patrick Penosky plays the game at his own pace, using his change of speed and ballhandling skills to create space and get where he wants. He found a nice amount of success in both half-court and transition situations, didn’t turn the ball over often, and even when his shot wasn’t falling, he stayed engaged.
Greensboro Warriors 2024 Guard Gavyn Williams Gavyn Williams 5'7" | PG Ragsdale | 2024 State NC is a downhill Guard that understands how to use his speed to make a positive impact on games for his team. He was constantly on the attack, beating players off the dribble to get in the paint for buckets but also knocking down some perimeter shots.
Garner Road Select 2025 Guard Marcel Freeman Marcel Freeman 6'0" | PG North Johnston | 2025 State NC was instant offense for his squad but what’s even more impressive is the variety of ways that he can score the ball. He’s efficient in catch and shoot situations, can make plays off the dribble and offensive rebounds the ball at a nice level which allows for second chance opportunities. On the defensive side of the ball, he does a nice job of staying honest, not gambling for steals too often and keeping his opponent in front of him.
Team Legacy 2025 Forward Grant Overman Grant Overman 6'8" | C Willow Spring | 2025 State NC brings an old school style of play for a big man, making his presence known in the paint on both ends of the floor. He does a nice job of fighting for position in the post for offense as well as finding a body to box out when he’s looking to secure rebounds.
RDC Lakers 2025 Guard Bryce Hill was a bright spot for his team although they struggled throughout the event. He provided a nice amount of scoring for them from the perimeter, understands how to create space for himself and has good end to end speed.
