Big Shots Carolina Summer Showcase Session I Standouts Pt.2

He absolutely dominated inside the paint, using his size and strength to score and rebound the ball at a high level, finishing in the top ten in the division in both categories. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>OTOD 2023 Guard <strong>Ty Owens </strong>led his team to the 17U division championship, averaging over 20 PPG and making plenty of big time plays down the stretch of games. He displayed an impressive IQ for the game, didn't force too many plays and got to where he wanted when he wanted. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Big Shots SC 2023 Guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='865309' first='Randy' last='Gibson']</strong> is one of those players that finds ways to make an impact on the game without dominating ball. He moved well without the ball, used minimal dribbles to get to his spots, crashed the boards at a nice rate and took pride on the defensive end of the floor as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sauras Elite 2024 Guard <strong>Ethan Moran</strong> was easily one of the best shooters that we saw at the event on Friday, knocking down shots from all over the court, averaging over 22 PPG. He has impressive range on his shot, but also showed the ability to put his head down and get to the basket for buckets. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Team Loaded 2026 Guard <strong>Isaac Ellis</strong> is playing up in the 17U division but looked very comfortable against the older competition and although he didn't have his best scoring game, he had a nice amount of success in other areas. He got his team into their offense and distributed the ball well while also taking advantage of the scoring opportunities that came available to him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
