As has been the case seemingly every week recently, the recruiting scene in the state of Indiana was on fire over the last several days. Things were turned up a little extra this week with the weekend live period featuring the IBCA Top 100 Showcase at Brownsburg High School. As we do each Sunday here at Prep Hoops Indiana, let’s high light the offers, visits, and commitments from around the state.

Perhaps the biggest recruiting news of the week broke in the early afternoon on Sunday when [player_tooltip player_id="1391463" first="Garwey" last="Dual"] (Carmel H.S. 2023) committed to Providence. Having visited the Friars earlier in the week, Dual was quickly considered a heavy lean to go play for Coach Ed Cooley. The 6’5" two-way guard was also offered by Butler and Dayton this week, but it made no difference on his decision. He has vaulted into the Top 50-75 of different recruiting rankings and should be an excellent get for Providence.

[player_tooltip player_id="868237" first="A.J." last="Lux"] (Crown Point H.S. 2023) announced his commitment to Bellarmine. Lux, a 6’4" guard, is one of the best pure shooters in the state of Indiana and should be a great fit for the Knights. The Bellarmine coaching staff had been following the Crown Point guard closely at a could of Prep Hoops Circuit events while playing with Team GRIII Elite.

6’10" big man [player_tooltip player_id="1363488" first="Flory" last="Bidunga"] (Kokomo H.S. 2024) is starting to round up some offers finally. Already holding a scholarship from Bradley, Bidunga was offered by Creighton and Wake Forest this week.

Sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id="1042491" first="Sam" last="Orme"] (Carmel H.S. 2023) was offered by Miami (OH) while on a visit earlier this week. At 6’8" with his shooting ability, Orme continues to be a highly sought after prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158204" first="K.J." last="Windham"] (Ben Davis H.S. 2024) was offered by Northern Kentucky.

IUPUI extended an offer to 6’1" guard [player_tooltip player_id="1275771" first="Ron" last="Rutland III"] (Crispus Attucks H.S. 2024). It was Rutland’s first offer. He is a high-potential prospect to keep an eye on in the rising junior class.

Booker, a 5-star 6’11" forward, added to his extremely long list with Gonzaga and USC. Booker is also in the midst of scheduling a visit to the University of Kentucky.

6’9" forward [player_tooltip player_id="1111922" first="Christian" last="Humphrey-Rembert"] (La Lumiere 2024) was offered by both California and Western Michigan during the week.

Manchester continued to host local visitors and extended offers as the hosted [player_tooltip player_id="1272960" first="Ethan" last="Bontrager"] (Fremont H.S. 2023).

[player_tooltip player_id="868240" first="Joey" last="Hart"] (Linton-Stockton H.S. 2023) added to his constantly growing list of offers with Southern Illinois this week.

This isn’t exactly recruiting news, but Lyna Brooks, one of the top 2024 prospects in Indiana, has transferred from Franklin Central to Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, Michigan.
