<p>Current Ranking: #1</p>
<p>Ames holds onto the top overall spot in the 2023 class. This spring he put up consistent point production for the Fire scoring from all three levels. In today’s game combo guards that can score at a high level have a ton of value. Ames is a spin cycle breaking down defenders in the lane while making difficult acrobatic layups. Stop and pop mid-range jumpers. Deep range on his three point shot. Shows flashes as distributor and is a quality defender that creates turnovers.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939057" first="Dalen" last="Davis"] (Whitney Young)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #4</p>
<p>Davis is coming off a strong close to his junior season where he ran the show for a team that made the state final in 4A. He has backed that up playing consistently well for Meanstreets during the spring. Strong and compact guard that has a good feel for the game being able to get others involved while also picking his spots to score especially with his pull up game. Good leader on the floor that others want to follow.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="989274" first="Brock" last="Harding"] (Moline)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #9</p>
<p>Harding had a monster second half of the high school season for Moline that saw him continue to move up the board. The Moline guard brings athleticism and scoring pop in the backcourt. He changes gears and directions on a dime with dynamic ball handling. Takes and makes tough layups, deep range on his shot, and is a crisp on point passer!</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048307" first="Ahmad" last="Henderson"] (Brother Rice)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #16</p>
<p>Henderson had a big junior season at Brother Rice. What we like most about him is his ability to step up in key moments! The smaller scoring point guard has a knack for coming up clutch nailing big shots with his deep range on his shot along with quickness off the bounce.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="989268" first="DeAndre" last="Craig"] (Mt. Carmel)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #17</p>
<p>Craig elevated his team at Mt. Carmel with a big junior campaign. His toughness and production were huge in their great season. He stepped up in every major game they played throughout the season diversifying his offensive game while leading his team.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939059" first="Jalen" last="Griffith"] (Simeon)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #18</p>
<p>Griffith is a high IQ guard that is a tremendous leader on the floor. He gets others involved with his passing in both the half court and transition. Pushes it in the open floor and sees plays that others don’t. Jump shot has really improved over the last year to where he has become a knock down threat pulling up. Not afraid to go in among the trees inside and is a pesky defender with active hands.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939079" first="Sonny" last="Williams"] (Niles Notre Dame)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #19</p>
<p>Williams is a combo guard that has good size and strength. He has shown this spring with Hoops4Health that he is at his best when using his combination of athleticism, burst, and physicality to get in the lane for finishes at the rim. Solid shooter that can hit open shots.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048315" first="Troy" last="Cicero"] (Romeoville)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #24</p>
<p>Cicero brings a lot of intriguing qualities to the table. The Romeoville combo guard is a wiry prospect that has a knack for getting where he needs to operate loving the pull up and float game. Capable shooter and showed flashes as a playmaker during the high school season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="994687" first="Kaiden" last="Space"] (St. Rita)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #25</p>
<p>Strong bodied combo guard that played mostly off the ball during his junior year. He is a quality spot up shooter that gets after it on the defensive end. Perfect glue guy at the next level that can connect everything together with his intangibles.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="939063" first="Tevonta" last="Jackson"] (Springfield Lanphier)</strong></p>
<p>Current Ranking: #26</p>
<p>Jackson is one of the top players from central Illinois. The kid is ultra smooth and slick with the ball in his hands. He can create for himself or others. So much speed with the ball in the open floor going end to end in the blink of an eye.</p>
