<p style="text-align: center;">The New Mexico Summer Basketball Tournament was being hosted at La Cueva and Sandia High School this weekend. There were fifteen games that took place on Saturday and included many standout performances from players.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1076700" first="Exodus" last="Ayers"] was the best player in La Cueva’s win vs Volcano Vista Saturday afternoon. He had several explosive drives to the basket that ended up in many scores around the rim. In a low scoring game that had great defense, <strong>Exodus</strong> didn’t let that affect his play. He set up his teammates well for easy shots while staying aggressive looking for his own shots. He helped La Cueva make a statement win vs Volcano Vista.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip  [="1176300" first="Kenyon" last="Aguino"] held his own vs La Cueva Saturday afternoon. He was Volcano Vista’s leading scorer in a low scoring game. He displayed great post play and had several "And Ones" inside the paint. Kenyon played good defense on La Cueva’s big man [player_tooltip player_id="1230778" first="Daniel" last="Jacobsen"]. He didn’t back down from any physical contact from La Cueva. Kenyon looked strong and in the zone throughout the contest. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1230778" first="Daniel" last="Jacobsen"] was easily the best defensive player during Saturday’s game vs Volcano Vista. He accumulated several blocks in the game against Volcano Vista and was a key interior presence the whole game. <strong>Daniel</strong> had quick instincts that saved many easy layups around the basket. He played a huge role rebounding on the glass and altering shots on the defensive end. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1076705" first="Cedarius" last="Yates"] started the game well for the La Cueva Bears. He made several pull-up mid-range shots to start the game. His offense kept La Cueva in the game early after Volcano Vista started the game on a run early. He was aggressive which helped open up opportunities for his teammates. His energy and extra effort in the second half helped La Cueva pull away for a statement win vs Volcano Vista. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1208049" first="Josiah" last="Guliford"] played this game at a nice pace for La Cueva Saturday afternoon. He played the game under control and was one of the key factors in this victory over Volcano Vista. He played a clean game offensively and played solid defense on the other end. He made a big three-pointer in the second half which helped La Cueva get a comfortable lead at the end of the game. <strong>Josiah</strong> was instrumental in the team’s victory. </p>

<p>Despite the loss to La Cueva Saturday afternoon, [player_tooltip player_id="1176305" first="Hudson" last="Brown"] was one of the hardest working players from that game. He played the best perimeter defense in the game and had a few forced turnovers from him press break defense. Despite a low scoring game from both teams, <strong>Hudson</strong> made good decisions on the offensive side of the ball. He was the teams primary ball handler today and was the captain of the ship. He knew when to look for his own shots and when to be a playmaker for others. </p>

<p><strong>Jordi Rojo</strong> from Belen High School was the team’s best player in their victory vs the Rebels. He was the team’s leading scorer and made a trio of three-pointers in the game. <strong>Jordi</strong> was aggressive looking for his shot early and found rhythm to start the game. After trailing at halftime, he took over to start the second half and helped Belen regain the lead and the team never looked back. </p>
