Thursday the 9th should be another dandy as teams have some interesting and not common matchups. Looking forward to the talent that will be coming in from out of state and out of the country.

Balboa Prep (CA) vs. Miners (Bingham)

Balboa Prep in the past has always brought a competitive 6’9 Abraham Oyeadier is a problem as he blocks shots, dunks anything and tries to dunk everything. He will be a player to watch that is a 2024. This will be a good early test for player like [player_tooltip player_id="1116156" first="Brayden" last="Whitehead"], [player_tooltip player_id="1057035" first="Ace" last="Reiser"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1206952" first="KJ" last="Jenson"]. New addition [player_tooltip player_id="1146664" first="Donovan" last="Averitte"] provides some guard size and skill that the Miners need.

Corner Canyon vs. Murray

This is a solid matchup between two teams that will have a shot at taking it all in their respective classifications. A few players will be on display that are high profile players and college bound players. [player_tooltip player_id="934036" first="Chudi" last="Anosike"] is coming off of a great Spring and multiple D1 offers as did [player_tooltip player_id="1056969" first="Brody" last="Kozlowski"] for CCHS as he has a few D1’s in his bag and is having a stellar Spring. [player_tooltip player_id="934040" first="Max" last="Toombs"] will be a tough cover as well for CCHS. [player_tooltip player_id="934037" first="Jaxson" last="Workman"] and Daishaun Bowie will be good players to watch as will [player_tooltip player_id="1129118" first="Tayshaun" last="Tramel"] for Murray.

Baller Heaven (England) vs. Layton

Baller Heaven has a loaded roster. They will have their hands full with a solid Layton team that has some dudes that can play. Layton is one of those teams that is starting to play well as a team early this summer. [player_tooltip player_id="1057041" first="KJ" last="Miller"] is playing well as he is really developing as a CG that can score at all three-levels. [player_tooltip player_id="1057040" first="Mekhi" last="Martin"] is a great distributing PG and Layton has some size that not a lot of teams have overall.

Cyprus vs Hillcrest (ID)

Cyprus when fully healthy will be one of the 6A favorites. [player_tooltip player_id="934030" first="Quentin" last="Meza"] is one of the toughest PG’s you will see and [player_tooltip player_id="1057025" first="Diego" last="Mulford"] is a sharp shooter that can hurt any team. Isaac Davis might be a tough cover as he is active at Hillcrest and a young player to watch on that Hillcrest team is Titan Larsen who does a little bit of everything will be an emerging prospect in the Class of 2025 in Idaho.

Utah Hype vs JM Elite

This is a good one to watch, especially if you’re still looking to add players to your roster as a college coach. JM Elite usually puts together a good team with a mixture of players form different classification. Utah Hype has some solid prospects still looking for a school that are unsigned but they have a solid program.
