[player_tooltip player_id="1476937" first="Eli" last="Ricketts"] (Denver) [39]

An off-ball guard who can put up points in a hurry, Ricketts averaged 8.1 points a game on a very good Denver team as a sophomore, shooting 45.5% from behind the arc. He’s a confident three-level scorer who shoots it really well off the catch with a quick release and unlimited range. He’ll have a chance to emerge as one of the state’s elite scorers over the next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1476938" first="Jack" last="Wynter"] (Ames) [40]

Wynter was a breakout star at the 4A state tournament, routinely knocking down big 3-pointers for the Little Cyclones en route to their 4A championship. He’s a confident shooter with a smooth release and pretty form on his lefty shot. He’s a long defender who you know is going to get up into opposing ball-handlers and into passing lanes playing at Ames. He’ll have a chance to shoulder a much bigger load next season as a junior following a ton of graduations.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378073" first="Joey" last="Coppola"] (Dowling Catholic) [54]

A high IQ lead guard at 5-10, Coppola plays with great pace, changing speeds well and using his quick first step to blow by defenders and get to the rim, where he’s an excellent finisher with either hand. He handles and sees the floor well and is equally content getting others involved as he is finding his own shot. He has a strong mid-range game and is working to continue to extend his range with consistency.

[player_tooltip player_id="1476940" first="Aidan" last="Harder"] (Norwalk) [60]

Harder had a productive sophomore season for the Warriors, averaging 7.2 points and 4.1 rebounds a game. A big guard at 6-3 who can score from all three levels, he’s put together a strong spring with Pure Prep as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1476941" first="Deion" last="Kinnetz-Jenkins"] (Waukee) [63]

A cat-quick guard who is an elite on-ball defender who gets into opposing ball-handlers and makes their lives difficult. He moves his feet extremely well, has quick hands and great feet, and he loves to take on the challenge of a big scorer on the perimeter. A pass-first guard who sees the floor and breaks down the defense, his scoring is still a work in progress, but he’s a good passer and excellent defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="1288927" first="Michael" last="Kasperbauer"] (Kuemper Catholic) [73]

Kasperbauer led the Knights in scoring as a sophomore, putting up 10.7 points and knocking down 44 3-pointers. He moves well off the ball and has a quick release on his shot as well as the ability to get to the rim for finishes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1476965" first="Peyton" last="Schilling"] (Monticello) [74]

A starter for a state tournament team, Schilling is a reliable two-way player who gets others involved, knocks down his open looks, and gets after it on the defensive end. He started all 26 games as a sophomore, knocking down 38.5% of his 3-point attempts and proving to be a strong playmaking guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1454905" first="Sage" last="Suntken"] (West Fork) [91]

Suntken is a strong shooter off the dribble and the catch, getting the ball into his shooting pocket quickly and showcasing a pure stroke. He’s a strong rebounder on both ends of the floor and is a good enough ball-handler and decision-maker to run the offense on a secondary basis.

[player_tooltip player_id="1423351" first="Tysen" last="De Vries"] (Pella Christian) [104]

A small but fearless guard, De Vries was excellent during the Eagles’ state tournament run, constantly attacking the bucket, getting others involved, and making his presence known on the defensive end. He’s listed at just 5-7, but he doesn’t back down from anyone.

[player_tooltip player_id="1476973" first="Titus" last="Cram"] (Bondurant-Farrar) [105]

A 6-0 combo guard who likes to play downhill and get to the rim, Cram had a strong sophomore season as a role player for the Bluejays, averaging 5.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists a game.
