<p>The 2023 rankings update is finally here with 280 players making up the new update. Players moved up the rankings in a big way this update with several players making huge jumps up. Here are the top stock risers from the 2023 rankings update.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1402095" first="Josh" last="Eli"], 6’6 SG Deptford</strong></p>
<p>No player moved up the rankings more than Eli as he moved up 83 spots. The 6’6 wing attacks the basket strong as he can finish above the rim and does not mind drawing contact. Eli is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and rises up over smaller defenders with confidence. He is a strong rebounder and has the length to defend multiple positions. Eli’s combination of length, athleticism and skill makes him an intriguing prospect to watch in the 2023 class.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1400496" first="Josh" last="Michigan"], 6’3 SG Brick Memorial</strong></p>
<p>Michigan saw his stock jump up in a major way as he went up 70 spots. The 6’3 guard has a smooth shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and shoots the ball with confidence from distance. Michigan moves exceptionally well without the ball in his hands, creating open jumpers and layups for himself. He can also score in the mid-range and is an underrated passer. Michigan’s ability to knock down jumpers from deep is something that will help his stock in a big way.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1150537" first="TJ" last="Halloran"], 6’3 SG Westfield</strong></p>
<p>Halloran took a big jump in the rankings as he went up 68 spots. The 6’3 guard is crafty with the ball in his hands as he has a tight handle and makes flashy passes. Halloran is a good finisher around the basket and has a nice release on his jumper. He moves well without the ball in his hands and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Halloran is a creative playmaker who has the potential to have a strong summer.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1401555" first="Stesher" last="Methelier"], 6’7 PF Notre Dame</strong></p>
<p>Methelier took the biggest jump of any frontcourt prospect as he moved up 64spots. The 6’7 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to get position down low and finish around the basket. Methelier has a nice touch on his free throws and is capable of hitting open jumpers from the perimeter. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and is a solid post defender. Methelier is a physical forward prospect whose ability to affect the game on both ends of the floor makes him a forward to watch this summer.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1402087" first="Alfredo" last="Adessa"], 6’9 C Doane Academy</strong></p>
<p>Adessa moved up 51 spots in the rankings and has the potential to move up more with a strong summer. The 6’9 post is a solid finisher around the basket and draws contact in the paint. Adessa is a solid passer and runs the floor hard. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Adessa will be a frontcourt prospect to watch with his ability to make an impact around the basket on both ends of the floor.</p>
