2023 Combo Guards who Could Breakout This Summer

<p>The first weekend of June has just ended, meaning the summer season is starting to get underway. Prospects in the 2023 class are looking to have strong summer campaigns as they look to improve their stocks to coaches. Here are the 2023 combo guards who could breakout this summer.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1150263" first="Evan" last="Cabral"], 6’3 Don Bosco Prep</strong></p> <p>Cabral has the potential to have a big summer with the All-In Beasts as he impacts the game on both ends of the floor. The 6’3 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he is a strong finisher and does not mind contact. Cabral has a good handle and is an underrated passer. He is a tough on-ball defender as he makes it hard for his man to get open shots and uses his quick hands to get deflections. The 6’1 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Machado is more than just a shooter as he can also beat his man off the bounce and finish around the basket. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is capable of running the offense. He is a solid rebounder and makes plays with the ball in his hands. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and works hard on the defensive end.
