The Hustle Region Circuit consists of AAU Programs from California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, and New Mexico. The circuit features 10 stops including the Hustle Region Final in Irvine July 15th – 17th. Stop 6 brings us to the Pacific Northwest and Centralia, Washington where 46 teams will compete all under one roof at the NW Sports Hub. I was impressed with the number of players with the ability to deliver on time, and on-target passes. In this article, we take a look at the top Dime Droppers from the event.
Liam Sherran 5’7 PG Roots Academy 2025 – Sherran was the first natural passer I saw at the event. He gets the ball out of his hands quickly in the backcourt allowing players the opportunity to catch and finish. Sherran is a throwback, pass-first PG that creates a contagious passing environment for his team.
Micah Anderson Team Anderson Elite 2025 – Despite being one of the younger players at the event, Anderson displayed a good IQ. He has good instincts and was one of the better hit-ahead passers I saw. On a loaded squad, his unselfishness and passing helped TAE’s uptempo attack thrive.
Elijah Cain Elijah Cain 6'2" | SG Kentridge | 2023 State WA 6’2 CG BDH Elite 2023 (#55PHWA 2023) – I was impressed with Cain’s ball speed and unselfishness. He allowed BDH to run, by making timely hit ahead passes. He’s unique in his ability to deliver on time and on target passes while playing downhill and at full speed.
Lars Pijpker 6’0 CG Global Basketball Club 2025 – Pijpker has a few skills in the backcourt, including slashing which goes right along with his top skill. He was effective driving and kicking as well as just making the simple next pass. His perimeter ball skills provided him opportunities to collapse the defense, and his instincts, and accuracy allowed him to be effective finding and pitching to teammates.
Browdy Rowbury 6’11 C Seattle Stars 2022 – I’ve always enjoyed watching Rowbury play, and it was fun to get to see him one last time. He’s one of the better interior passes in high school basketball, with the ability to deliver dimes from both the high post as well as with his back to the basket. Rowbury spent the weekend feeding any teammate willing to cut to the basket when he had the ball in the post.
