<p>This year’s Prep Hoops Circuit has brought out some of the most talented players and teams from across the nation week to week and each tournament has given us a new breakout prospect whose stock goes to a new level. Here we’ll take a look at a few more of the most intriguing stock risers from the month of May.</p>

C</span>razy athleticism, supreme body control, good hang time, acrobatic, and absorbs contact unbelievably well. This freshman recruit h</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">as mastered the art of scoring off-balance whether it’s through contact or a clogged lane, all Parker needs is a view of the basket and he will more than likely convert the layup or floater with a kiss right off of the glass. I</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">n isolation, Overstreet can score at will, he has t</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">urbo in his first step that gets him all the way to the rack from the perimeter with one dribble and an explosive one-foot leap.</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> Anytime his teammates clear out the lane, he makes his move and he’s at the basket in a blink of an eye either finishing the play or drawing the foul call. When Catungal is on the floor he seems like o</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">ne of the best rebounding guards around, he grabs boards a</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">t a high rate and has had</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> stints where he pulled down rebounds consecutively while going down and back from offense to defense. As a facilitator, Elijah </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">sees the court very well, he isn</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">’t afraid to take chances </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">and can thread the needle, oftentimes his passing through congestion is superb. When it comes to dribble penetration this guard can e</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">ffortlessly get to the rack and finish with all types of reverse and up-and-under lay-ins, showing creativity in traffic and through contact, often drawing and absorbing body contact on the way up. Defensively, Elijah brings an a</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ggressive and intense prowess to the floor, hounding ball-handlers above the perimeter and shooting the passing gaps at top speed creating countless fast break opportunities. You can always expect him to </span></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">let it fly the moment the ball touched his hands with no wasted motion.</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> Bookout’s shooting touch and consistency are simply remarkable and once he catches </span></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">fire there is no stopping or slowing him down. He’s even reliable in clutch situations where he hands opposing teams m</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">omentum crushing threes on the regular. Bookout is just as h</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ard to stop when he’s coming downhill with a full head of steam, once Tanner’s inside the paint he’s going to score one way or another. The Texas native is extremely tough and unphased by traffic, hard fouls, contesting defenders, or contact, he has a knack for finding a way to maneuver through the lane and finish with scoop layups, finger rolls, and soft-touch leaners. With so many facets to his game, his passing ability to get overlooked, he’s a natural distributor with quarterback-like accuracy. All of this combined allows Richardson to c</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ontrol the paint on the offensive end. Erik shows quality court vision, he’s a rare center that looks</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> to pass it out of the post often, always scanning the floor over top of everyone’s head for slashing teammates or an open man on the perimeter. On the defensive end is where Dominique has really shined and shown potential as a rim protector. Offensively</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">, Smith’s shots seem i</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">mpossible for anyone to block or contest effectively at times, even against tight defense or limited space Smith can usually spin in to his jump hook or turnaround and shoot over the top of them with a clear view of the hoop. </span></p>
