West Coast grassroots luminary Dinos Trigonis got his Pangos All-American Camp season rolling a month early this year, hosting a so-called “preview” event in Lynwood, CA, one month before the main event in Las Vegas.

The Pangos All-American Preview attracted a nice group of regional standouts and national sleepers hoping to snare some headlines – and possibly a berth into June’s camp.

In the end, a trio of Southern California guards – Harvard Westlake sophomores [player_tooltip player_id="1188984" first="Robert" last="Hinton"]
Jr. and Trent Perry, and Donda Academy’s Seven Bahati – were named co-MVPS

I had a chance to attend both days of the camp. This is the third report highlighting my standouts that made my third and fourth teams.

Third Five

Chris Arias, 6-5 2024 G Providence School of Jacksonville (FL)

Fluid, three level scorer shot it well from the perimeter throughout the weekend.

Gavin Hightower, 6-0 2025 PG, Windward

High-IQ and crafty point guard possesses elite feel and can score and create with equal aplomb. Really good leader who plays with confidence.

Tyrone Riley, 6-5 2024 G, St. Matthias/ Pius

Athletic, lefty scoring guard can defend multiple positions when engaged.

Jalen Milt, 6-3 2023 G, Norview (VA)

Strong, athletic combo guard got into the paint when he wanted, knockdown midrange shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id="994931" first="Martin" last="Gumwel"], 6-10 2023 C, Rancho Christian

The third best big at the camp blocked and altered a ton of shots and showed off an improved jump hook in the post to complement his rim running and finishing.

[player_tooltip player_id="994924" first="Xavier" last="Edmonds"], 6-9 2023 PF/C, Bishop Montgomery

Big, skilled four/five makes up for decent athleticism with excellent footwork, touch and shooting ability out to the college three. Also a very good passer with solid balls kills.

Fourth Five

Devin Ringer, 6-3 2024 PG, Fairfax

The MVP of the Top 60 game, I thought Ringer was good enough to be in the Top 30. A wiry, athletic point guard who can shoot it with prolific range and a very good passer and playmaker out of the pick and roll.

Thierry Henry Eme Ngo, 6-7 2023 F, Renaissance Academy

A mystery man of sorts, Ngo was one of the most explosive athletes and finishers in the camp and a really active rebounder to boot. Very raw offensively, but shows flashes of being able to handle in transition and attack off the wing.

Giovanni Goree, 5-11 2023 PG, Viewpoint

One of my favorite "little guards" on the weekend, Goree was a menace defensively and scored it efficiently while also creating for his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="994916" first="Isaiah" last="Chappell"], 6-9 2023 F, Crossroads

Skilled big who can shoot (nice midrange touch and capable shooting it from the college three) handle and pass the ball. With a very immature frame and burgeoning athleticism, I think Chappell’s best basketball is ahead of him. Needs to add toughness.

Zyier Beverly, 6-8 2023 F, Washington Prep

Bouncy and athletic four man finished lobs and tip jams well above the rim and showed flashes of face-up game from the four spot. Really young 2023 prospect with a ton of upside
