WINNECONNE-- We unlock the code to the 15U standouts from the Saturday evening session at Winneconne High School. This one particular game between Team 1848 National 2025 vs. Team Iowa 2025 had our eyes and ears and really showed PLENTY of standouts that we had to talk about that I enjoyed watching their games grow. Take a look at which six prospects stood out!

Aaron Cullen | Team 1848 National 2025

When I watch hoops/football prospects, instinctiveness is a huge skillset I look for and let me just say that Aaron Cullen of Team 1848 National 2025 had all that on Saturday night’s viewing from the Midwest Showdown at Winneconne High School. He knew exactly when and how to turn on the jets to connect his high motor at the bucket and showed a ton of consistency doing it against Team Iowa 2025. Aaron also blossomed passing the rock, as he showed vast fluidity and precision with his launch angle of the passes he hit his teammates with. Aaron might be one of the most improved prospects I watched from this Team 1848 that I got to watch a bunch last year on our Prep Hoops Next circuit event. Certainly a Fox Valley prospect I will be following deeper into his HS career out of Kimberly.

Nehemiah Lewis | Team Iowa 2025

Nehemiah showed a stout interior frame that showed sizeable physicality once he put the ball on the floor on the low block. It wasn’t just offensively where Nehemiah showed this off either, as he worked his tail off defensively too from a physical standpoint. This was a tough kid to get off-balance from what my eyes could see at both ends of the floor. His consistency really showed out as one of the battlers for this Team Iowa 2025 that came up short in their game against Team 1848 National 2025. A strong-framed frontcourt out of Burlington HS that I would love to see on the gridiron as well due to his immovable yet sturdy frame in the paint.

Cole Beinborn | Team Iowa 2025

Cole showed off a multi-level scorer for Team Iowa 2025. He showed off the speed especially cutting into the mid-range and low post to get his buckets where needed. This kid is a very proficient mid-range shooter as he showed off a strong level of consistency for that range. He also showed off a quick trigger on his shots. A guard prospect from Pleasant Valley to watch in the 2025 class.

Ayden Lom | Team 1848 National 2025

Talk about a firecracker being lit from the outside corner, that was what my eyes saw from Ayden Lom last Saturday night at Winneconne High School. Ayden also showed great mechanics with unloading his passes when he didn’t have the look he wanted and fired those with a sound amount of adrenaline. Another fellow scout saw Ayden’s consistent passing too (video clip below) continued on Sunday at Winneconne which seeing that from multiple scouts eyes, paints a immense look at this young man’s future. Guess what? Ayden is another Kimberly prospect in 2025 that will be a fun watch to follow in the coming years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1428204" first="Roan" last="Demovsky"] | Team 1848 National 2025

I said this on Saturday after the game I witnessed, there was a lot to like about the team-built game from [player_tooltip player_id="1428204" first="Roan" last="Demovsky"] of De Pere. Most of it wouldn’t reflect on a scoresheet, but from baseline to baseline, both ends of the court this young man was getting it done. When I watched Roan defensively, he showed out some highly aggressive defense but yet, in such a controlled tone based on what I could read from what my eyes could see. Roan took probably some of the hardest contact on both ends of the court, but what did he do? Just kept playing, owned his craft, and continued to work. Roan showed off a young man that is just a workhorse and will do anything asked of him to do for his team, which will build him a strong resume going into the De Pere program in the coming years. Roan shows a detail-oriented bunch of skillsets that I hope to follow in De Pere over his next several seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id="1439056" first="Ty" last="Gerard"] | Team 1848 National 2025

I had the adjective written all over my notepad, shifty, shifty, shifty which was the best word to possibly describe [player_tooltip player_id="1439056" first="Ty" last="Gerard"] of Green Bay Preble. His abilty to use his finesse moves to gain leverage within his shots was what stuck out a ton to me on my Saturday evening viewing at Winneconne. He showed a prospect that can score on all three levels and one that even if he could visualize his shot was off, was one of a few prospects out there that actively followed his shot out there to see if he could make up for it in the paint. One of a few Green Bay area kids I look to follow his HS basketball career closely.
