The nation’s premier shoe circuit was in Louisville over Memorial Day Weekend at the Kentucky Exposition Center as teams looked to solidify their position in the standings to qualify for the Peach Jam. After spending the weekend watching some of the best prospects in the country it is time to highlight some of those that really stood out in Louisville. Here are eight of the most impressive players from EYBL Session III.
Aaron Bradshaw Aaron Bradshaw 7'0" | PF Camden | 2023 State #10 Nation NJ (Camden H.S. 2023/NJ Scholars 2023): This 7-foot forward was arguably the most impressive prospect in Louisville this weekend. Bradshaw is extremely mobile for his size, a true force as a rim protector, and skilled offensively. Soft touch on his face-up jumpers and finishes at the rim too. Averaged 15 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game as the Scholars went 4-1 at Session III.
Coen Carr Coen Carr 6'4" | SF Dutchtown | 2023 State #77 Nation GA (Legacy Early College 2023/Georgia Stars 2023): There aren’t many athletes in the country, playing any sport, that are as explosive as this 6’6″ wing. Carr can absolutely jump out of the gym and plays with a physicality unmatched by most defenders. He lived above the rim all weekend long averaging 13.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
Robert Dillingham Robert Dillingham 6'2" | CG Donda Academy | 2023 #9 Nation CA-S (Donda Academy 2023/Team CP3 2023): With a decision date now set for June 24th, Dillingham is trending towards becoming a Kentucky Wildcat. The 6’0″ guard was the most impressive playmaker in Louisville and one of the top scorers at the event. Dillingham is so shifty and quick with the ball, creates great separation, and is a great shooter. His efficiency was most impressive shooting 56.3% from the field while taking some TOUGH shots. Also was 13-29 from beyond the arc which is 44.8%. Averaged 22.4 points per game.
Brady Dunlap Brady Dunlap 6'7" | SF Harvard-Westlake | 2023 State #100 Nation CA-S (Harvard Westlake H.S. 2023/Strive For Greatness 2023): Dunlap is a 6’7″ shooter that had a consistently strong weekend for Strive For Greatness. While his team managed just 1-4 record, the 4-star recruit averaged 15 points per game with good three-point shooting numbers.
Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn Dravyn Gibbs-Lawhorn 6'2" | PG Montverde Academy | 2023 #42 Nation FL (Montverde Academy 2023/Indy Heat 2023): This future Purdue Boilermaker was a consistent force in the backcourt for Indy Heat as they went 3-2 on the weekend. Gibbs-Lawhorn showed off his shot-making ability averaging 16 points per game and also dishing out over 3 assists per contest.
Milan Momcilovic Milan Momcilovic 6'8" | SF Pewaukee | 2023 State #44 Nation WI (Pewaukee H.S. 2023/Team Herro 2023): There may not have been a prospect that turned more heads nationally than this 6’8″ fast rising forward out of Wisconsin. Momcilovic has catapulted from a relative unknown to a 4-star prospect ranked #35 in the country by 247Sports. Elite skill level for his size. He averaged 23.2 points per game on the weekend.
Devin Royal Devin Royal 6'6" | PF Pickerington Central | 2023 State #49 Nation OH (Pickerington Central H.S. 2023/All Ohio Red 2023): Royal had an absolutely fantastic weekend at EYBL Session III. It is as simple as that. A 6’6″ super physical, versatile forward, Royal dominated around the basket and led All Ohio Red to a 4-1 weekend. He averaged 23.4 points per game on absurd 66% shooting and also grabbed 5.2 rebounds per contest.
Dajuan Wagner Jr Dajuan Wagner Jr 6'4" | PG Camden | 2023 State #1 Nation NJ . (Camden H.S. 2023/NJ Scholars 2023): All eyes were on Wagner all weekend long. In the city of Louisville, there is not a more popular basketball player currently. His recruitment between Louisville and Kentucky will go down as one of the most followed in history. Wagner certainly lived up to the hype showing off his elite playmaking ability as the NJ Scholars went 4-1. He averaged 19 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
